i remember one time, we had a song to present, along with our other female friends. there was a dress code, but for reasons beyond my control, i couldn't adhere to it. my other friends gossiped about and made fun of me that day, but helen was the only one who stuck with me and stood up for me.
we were just silly kids, but i was really shy and socially awkward back then, so what she did really meant a lot to me.
