I turn around to face them and stumble a bit as the bear trap gets caught in the long grass. I manage to not fall over and look at the people. I then notice that they have three extra people hiding in the shadows behind them. I start to panic, there's no way I'm going to be able to fight off six to eight people with my leg hurt.
I decide that when they start to advance I'll take off and fly away. I'm about to do that when two of them catch me by surprise and dart forward. One turns to the left and the other turns to the right. I turn to the left and manage to slash open the guy's neck with my claws.
From behind, the other guy slashes my right wing. I whip around sending the knife flying out of his grasp. I lunge forward and grab the guy around the neck. I pick him up and send him flying into a tree where he slumps unconscious.
I turn just in time to catch a punch in the jaw. I stagger back, ripping the bear trap from the grass's grasp. I right myself and catch another person's hand as they aim another punch at my face. I bring my other hand around and knock him about the head. He falls and I turn to another person that was trying to sneak up on me. By now I'm exhausted and in a lot of pain.
He rushes forward and I just barely dodge. I stumble a bit and this time, I don't right myself and fall. I flip over and receive a kick in the stomach. I groan and try to scratch him but he catches my hand. He drops it and quickly steps on it so that I can't attempt to slice him again. I struggle a bit even though I know I can't win.
