You blush at the compliment.

"I don't think your ex would appreciate you talking to me so fondly." You laugh.

"Me and Liz aren't dating anymore. As far as I'm aware it isn't any of her business who I talk to," Shaun smiles, looking back at them all.

"Besides, i think they're all arguing again..." he sighs shaking his head.

You look over his shoulder to see he was right. They're arguing over something as stupid as a packet of crisps. You watch the man with glasses called David snatch food out from the girl sitting next to him. Rage boils through you.

"Excuse me for a moment," you say, excusing yourself and walking up to David.

"Give her the crisps back," you warn.

David looks at you angrily.

"Who made you queen of the crisps," he scoffs.

"They weren't yours to take," you say, crossing your arms.

"I'm not giving back the bloody crisps, I called dibs,"

"David, just give the crisps to her so this won't escalate further," Shaun says.

"NO, I'm not giving her the bloody crisps!" he shouts.

"Alright, you asked for it," you say before punching him square in the face, making him drop the crisps and yell in pain.

"My nose!" He whines.

"Don't take things whenever you please, this isn't a bloody play ground. Grow up and get your own behind the bar. We're all in the same situation here so man the fuck up," you hiss watching the colour drain from his face.

Everyone sat there stunned for a minute.

Shaun looks at you surprised.

"damn..."

"He deserved it," Barbara giggles and Liz smiles.

"It was definitely deserved," Liz smirks.

"Sorry, I just can't stand people like him at times." You say, looking at David one last time who's whining like a child.

"Oh grow up, it'll heal," you say, walking back over to the bar to grab your drink.

"It's ok. One of us was bound to do that at some point. I'm just sad it wasn't me," Shaun frowns, glaring at him.

"You should probably stay away from David for now," he adds.

"I agree," you smile although a question burns in your mind.

"I know you said you're no longer dating Liz, but why are you so interested in me?" you ask, genuinely curious.

"I guess it's not everyday an apocalypse with flesh eating zombies happens and you stumble across someone as normal and as beautiful as you. People don't get that lucky these days," he says, looking at you taking a sip of his drink.

"I'm very flattered, thank you honestly it means a lot. Personally I don't feel I look beautiful right now, but your compliment is greatly appreciated," you smile.
