// Hello!!!

I was inspired by this idea from a video on YT. I like this au where Aizawa was Quackity in the past. If it weren't for the fact that I'm not good at writing long-term fic, I would love to read some fanfiction!

So you can consider this one shot as an inspiration for other writers, hah.

Enjoy reading ❤️

"A week of cleaning the dorms and we are playing."

"Ugh. Fine!"

A couple of students from Aizawa's Sensei class were sitting in the classroom, at one large table. Or more precisely, a few smaller tables connected to each other.
Mina, Kirishima, Kaminari, Ochako, Midoriya and Todoroki were sitting around the table. The latter probably didn't know exactly what he was doing there. Just a moment ago he was sitting at his bench when suddenly Midoriya invited him to play. And how can you refuse a person whose smile literally blinds you?

"I guess I don't have to explain the rules to you, do I?" the pink-skinned student smiled energetically, starting to shuffle the cards.

Todoroki looked at the rest of the participants, but not hearing any voices, he didn't speak. Playing cards isn't that difficult, right?

"Sounds fun!" the brunette said, immediately taking her cards into her hand.

"There's no way I'm going to clean all week!" Kaminari added, taking the cards with a confident smile.

"It's a pity that Bakubro didn't want to play with us" Kaminari muttered, shuffling through some cards "When I asked him about it, he started shouting something like 'it's pointless'."

"It's probably because of me" Izuku smiled apologetically "The last time he saw me playing cards with Hitoshi, he immediately refused to play again..."

"So now I definitely have to beat you!" Mina laughed.

Shouto raised an eyebrow, trying to arrange the cards in his hand. It wasn't as simple as it looked.

Are these symbols supposed to mean something???

Fortunately, Lida decided to put an end to his suffering.

"Gambling at school is illegal!" he exclaimed, waving his arms stiffly.

"We're just playing cards, Lida!" Ochako, looked at her friend "No money bets or anything! Unfortunately..."

"It's still gambling!" continued the bespectacled man, standing at their table. "Such behavior is not appropriate for future Pro Heroes! It could get you into trouble!"

"It's really probably nothing..." Midoriya mumbled, although he didn't look too sure right now. He didn't want to get kicked out for playing cards. What would he tell his mother then? Kami, what would he tell All Might?!

"I expected more responsible behavior from you!" the bespectacled man continued his tirade, attracting the attention of the rest of the class. It wasn't like Lida had anything against his fellow students. He didn't want them to get into trouble. He was rather the few (apart from Yaoyorozu) who were the ones responsible.

"Those screams were probably not necessary"

The entire group flinched when they noticed Aizawa Sensei got up from his yellow sleeping bag and invisibly stopped next to them.
Everyone had a similar train of thought and a sense of chill. Everyone was thinking the same thing. They have and will have a problem.

"A-Aizawa Sensei!" Kaminari muttered in panic, immediately throwing his cards onto the table.

"We thought Sensei was sleeping...!" Ochako added, looking like he was about to escape through the window.

"We're just... Playing cards!" Kirishima said quickly, smiling nervously and showing his sharp teeth.

"Exactly!"

Aizawa shot them a glare, making most of them squish even further into their seats. Except for Shouto, who just shrugged. Rather, he was only here because of the boy with the sunny smile. Even Lida wasn't going to comment on anything. He sincerely hoped that Aizawa wouldn't notice anything and they would be able to stop the game...

The teacher leaned over the table in silence, staring at the cards that Midoriya was holding with shaking hands.

"Throw it away" he muttered in a monotonous tone, pointing to one card. "Then you have a chance" he added, ignoring the surprised looks of the others.

"...Chance?" Izuku just bluscreened.

"I guess you play to win, right?" the man raised an eyebrow, seeing the uncertain nods of the head. "At least try. If you could play, you would have ended your debts a long time ago."

Without waiting for anyone to say anything, he left their table, returning to his sleeping bag. The entire group stared at his back in shock, not knowing what to do.

"What a Problem children... " Shouta muttered under his breath as he stepped back into the yellow material. He ignored the feeling of the students' stares, closing his eyes. However, he liked a bit of chaos, so he didn't mind this little mess at all.

"What was that...?"

"Aizawa Sensei is playing cards?!"

"He... Gambling... What?"

"How manly!"

"Is Aizawa Sensei secretly a professional gambler?"

"Todoroki... Just... Just no."

"Do you think he'll teach me how to play if I ask?!"

"I also want to!"

The black-haired man hid his small smile under the fabric of his sleeping bag. Oh, how he hasn't seen a card game in a long time. He usually stayed away from them, but now he couldn't help but comment.

Children probably shouldn't play this kind of game... But... Oh well.

Wouldn't it hurt to give them some tips?

The students definitely took these "little tips" to heart. Too much to the heart. All Might's shock was probably enough when he entered the classroom and saw most of the students playing for each other's lunch.

Yagi felt like he was missing something.

Oh. Young Midoriya also plays along with them. How lovely!

Wait

"They're..." the blonde muttered, realizing that he was seeing an entire class gambling. Including his successor. Oh my Kami.

"Yagi Sensei! Want to play?"

Aizawa knew he had done his job perfectly when he saw a devastated Toshinori during the break. He couldn't help but make a mean comment when he saw his lunch missing.

Shouta taught them perfectly.
