Chapter 11

You finally snapped out of your thoughts, catching yourself staring at him way longer than what you should be. "So what happened? No one got seriously injured right?" you asked looking down at the blanket that covered you. You felt ashamed that you weren't able to help Aizawa. You felt the one thing you swore you would never let yourself feel again. You felt weak and helpless.

Bakugo notices tears leaking out of your eyes after asking that question. He sighs before walking up to you and sitting on the side of your bed "Hey stop crying, those tears don't look good on you" he says trying not to break his tough looking exterior. "I know how you're feeling. I can see right through you. And I would be lying if I said I didn't understand what you were feeling".

You look up at him with tears still falling down your face "I'm weak, I'm nothing but a shell of who I once was, I let them break me" you cried out, your body shaking while you let out the tears you've been trying so hard to contain.

Bakugo's face softens up again. He hates seeing you like this, especially knowing what you went through with the LOV. He had a sudden urge to just protect you from everything. He couldn't explain why though, these feelings were something completely foreign to him.

"You're not weak...If anything you put up more of a fight than any other student that was there" Bakugo trailed off, putting a hand on your back while you rested your face in your hands. "Not only did you fight off two villains at once, you also landed in some pretty good blows against that Nomu".

An image replays in his head of when you were knocked out, and when Shigaraki got to you. He didn't remember much else after that, but seeing you almost get turned to dust again was enough for the tears to start leaking out of his eyes.
