I was supposed to be a father...

'She was pregnant..? Fuck.. I ruined everything! We could have had a little family together.' I thought.

I turned to face the girl in what once used to be our bed and said,

"You need to get out. Right now."

I took a minute to process things, looking away as the girl in my bed was now getting dressed. I quickly got dressed and ran out of the room, down the hall to Vels room. I knew she'd understand my situation. When I walked in, I didn't expect her to be holding [name] in her arms.

Velvet looked me dead in the eyes and shook her head, like she was disappointed in me. My eyes widened and I could have sworn my heart stopped beating. I saw Velvet move [name] before getting up and moving towards me. She looks me in the eyes before she laid a hard slap on my cheek.

"Please Vel! Let me explain myself.. in front of you both! Please..!" I cried out, I held my cheek which was stinging and red.

Velvet crossed her arms and gave me a death glare, I deserved it.

"You have 5 minutes to explain yourself." Vel spoke in such a menacing tone.

"I know it's too late to ask for forgiveness now.. but when I met the fan I-I was drunk okay? I didn't know what I was doing that night I met her! I promise I'd never hurt [name] like this on purpose.." I spoke, looking down at the ground in shame.

Velvet looked at me with disgust and shook her head. She turned back to grab [name] by the hand and shoved me out of the way. I heard the front door open and slam shut, leaving me alone with just my thoughts. My lip quivered and tears streamed down my face as I quickly pulled out my phone to try and text [name] to apologize.

By the time I pressed send, my message didn't go through. She blocked my number. I sighed and rubbed my face, karma is definitely a bitch..

Velvets Point of View

I was sitting on my bed scrolling through my instagram feed before I was interrupted by a crying [name] running into my room and into my arms. I was confused on why she was crying, but when she started explaining I soon understood and started comforting her. I didn't know that Veneer was.. cheating? I felt so bad for [name] and that she has to go through this but I'll always be here for her. Through thick or thin, i'd be here supporting her and her baby.

I rest my head on hers, patting her back gently as she cried. I closed my eyes but quickly opened them as I heard my door open, I looked at my brother with disgust. I whispered in [names] ear before moving her to the side. I got up and walked over to Veneer, raising my hand to slap my brother across the face. I gave him a death glare as he scrambled to find words.

"Please Vel! Let me explain myself.. In front of you both! Please..!" He cried out, holding his cheek.

"You have 5 minutes to explain yourself." I said menacingly, annoyed and hurt by his actions.

As he spoke I felt more disappointed and disgusted, once he finished talking I was is pure disbelief. I turned around and grabbed my phone before getting [name], I held her arm tight as I pushed past Veneer. I really couldn't believe him.. what the hell was he thinking I grabbed my car keys before slamming the door shut, sighing and taking a deep breath once we got outside. I unlocked the car, opening the door for [name]. I got into the drivers side and started the engine before speeding off, I looked at [name] sitting there looking out of the window.

I rested my hand on her thigh which made her turn her head, I looked into her puffy bloodshot eyes. I gave a little smile before looking back at the road, I check the signs on the side of the road and see that there is a hotel a couple minutes away. I clear my throat which made her look my way once again,

"I'm so sorry about that [name].. I didn't know he'd do that.. but I'll be here to support you and the baby." I spoke softly as I stopped at the red lights.

I saw a small smile come across her tear stained face, I couldn't help but admire her cute look. My hand held her chin and I leaned in to her, my lips pressed against hers. [name] was a bit hesitant to kiss back but she soon melted into the kiss. I pulled away as the light turned green, I took a turn and we entered into a hotel parking lot. If me having to be better than my brother and actually use my brain was an understatement, so be it.

I honestly thought my brother was better than this, better than to let his ego go past his ears. But at least I now know that [name] is mine, all mine. It's funny how the pieces fell into place. Ever since they got together I couldn't help but be jealous of them, of course he hit the jackpot.. leaving me with nothing. Months and months went by with them being together, the rage and jealousy that built up in those long months.. When she came to me crying that she was pregnant.. I couldn't help but feel angry and hurt but I couldn't let it show or else she'd know.

A small chuckle escaped my mouth as I got lost in my thoughts. I blinked a few times as she called out my name, I looked at her with a smile. I quickly unbuckled my seatbelt and got out of the car, making my way inside the hotel to see if they had any free rooms. Seeing as they did, I booked a room for a few nights. They gave me the key for our room and we went up, the elevator ride silent.

Walking into the room, I shut it quickly behind me. I locked the door and put something heavy in front of it. I looked towards [name]. A sick and twisted smile formed on my face, I chuckled at the mere thought of it..

She was finally mine.
