SUMMARY:
Y/n first met Joel Miller when he walked into the library she had been working at with his daughter, helping her find something for school. When he first saw her, he was immediately attracted to her and tried to figure out ways that he could see her again. Of course, his daughter noticed and would get him to come to the library again...
...for school, obviously.
It wasn't long till they had gone on a date and then it was history. They were together during the outbreak, together when Sarah Miller died in her father's arms, together when they lost their child... resulting in Joel almost losing the love of his life.
Twenty years later, they're still together, yet their relationship isn't as strong as it used to be. They never expected a fourteen year old with an immune infected bite to be their matchmaker to make them much stronger like they used to be.
