I turned on my side feeling the sun on my face. I sighed and looked at the clock in my hotel room. I decided to go on a little vacation to take a break from the Forks situation. I decided to get up and get ready for the day knowing that I was supposed to meet Jaz for breakfast at 10:00 a.m. at a restaurant not far away and it's already 8:23 a.m.

As I suspected, the last few months have been a nightmare. It had been seven months since the Cullens left the Forks and Isabella had turned into a zombie. Thanks to Rose, Em and Jaz's warnings, I was able to calmly prepare for this. Two weeks after they left, Charlie tried to make contact with me but his attempts were unsuccessful.
He tried to use his powers as Chief of Police to force me to talk to him but this only brought him more harm and trouble. He was given a warning and informed that he would lose his job and license as a police officer if he did not leave me alone. This gave me maybe a few weeks of peace until Isabella herself started writing and calling me.
