Conner and Artemis had already had a session with Black Canary and now Aqualad was sat in the seat.

"I was the general, but behaved like a soldier and sacrificed myself. I am not fit for command and must resign as team leader," Aqualad admitted, disappointed in himself.

"Who do you reccomend to take your place?" Black Canary asked.

"Artemis is too raw and untrusting. Kid Flash, too rash and impulsive. Miss Martian remains too eager to please. Superboy carries too much anger," he replied, which left only two members.

"Making Robin or Fury the logical choice," Canary finished.

"But they are so young."

"Kaldur, you're all young," countered Canary, leaning forward.

"I cannot shift this burden to the two of them. Not yet. It appears I must withdraw my resignation. "

Robin just left the room and Fury entered next.

She sat down with a sigh and looked at Canary.

They stayed silent for a minute longer, Fury constantly fidgeting.

"I don't want to talk about it," she said and made to rise.

"What about the panic attack?"

"There's nothing about it. I was anxious and B calmed me down. I'm fine, so don't worry."

Canary raised her eyebrows skeptically, and Fury shrugged.

"You woke up after everyone else by a few seconds. You looked like you were having a nightmare. And, you could barely speak above a whisper. I saw the camera footage, Fury. So I'll ask again, what caused you to panic because it most definitely wasn't watching your team dying?" Canary said and Fury sat down with a sigh.

"What I say never leaves this room. Only Batman, Robin and my mom know about these visions and I'm only telling you because Batman trusts you and I have no reason to not trust you," Fury finally said after a very long pause.

Canary nodded and Fury let her shoulders droop, the exhaustion worrying Canary more because no fourteen year old should look like their carrying the universe on their shoulders.

"I can't say much, but their deaths triggered something. I had a vision where peoiple were dying and I couldn't save them," Fury finally said. Canary watched with concern shining.

"And you're sure it was a vision, not a dream?"

"Yes. It was so real and...I fear this vision I had is going to pass soon. I guess I panicked because I heard a scream I recognized," Fury replied softly.

Then Fury left, leaving a Canary to watch her leave with a concerned look.

AN: Anyone feel like Canary looked at these guys like they were her kids? I love her for that because I already really like Canary as a character, but her being caring is just so sweet.

Percy growled as Riptide sliced through another seas monster.

These minor sea monsters had been annoying some fish in the area and Poseidon had tasked Percy with fixing the problem.

She had been at this for two weeks, not going to to her mom or on missions with the team—except for when she took a short break break a few hours earlier to say Happy Birthday to Wally.
