Chapter 6 - Power is election

Start from the beginning

"I don't really know how to fight tho" she said "But I can learn!" she shouted like in a motivation song

"I don't know if it will be possible because no one who was sentenced to death tried to fight the champion. But I think that if I talk to the king, he will let you fight, and I will also try to arrange for you to have some training before." he said and closed the files "I'll try to do it as fast as I can since there's not much hope for you to prove your innocence." he stood up and pulled the chair, bowed slightly and the girl did the same while sitting.

"Thank you so much Mr Kang!" she stood up

"You can call me Yeosang, just Yeosang" he said and left the room

Dae felt a gleam of joy obscured by hard work. Two policemen came in to take her to her cell, she was not bothered by her chained hands or the stone floor on which she was supposed to sleep.

Please let this plan be accepted, let this plan be accepted. I wonder what is Yunho doing, I hope he wasn't looking for me too long. I need to say sorry to him after, what a minute. Even if I win I won't be able to leave prison.... It's okay... I may see him when I will get a visit pass... But my goal will be also far away... God, what is happening. What's wrong with this world? Okey, fuck this all, Dae keep yourself, pull yourself, together. Be strong

"Dinner time" policeman said while placing a plate with some meat and rice in the hole "Enjoy" he was gone

Dae immediately took the plate and started eating since she haven't eaten much in the morning. Dish was better than breakfast but still had a weird bitter taste with strange texture.

What time could it be?

She thought after finishing her meal, she ate everything that was on a plate. And then again two policeman's came to get her.

"Where are we going?" Dae asked but nobody responded

They opened the door to her cell, she came out and they tied her hands behind her back. The prison was located in the basement of the castle, there was an original door to it, but there was also a door leading to the castle.

They had just walked through this door, walking down a beautiful long, wide and high marble corridor.

They turned to door, opened it and went trough, behind it there was a huge gym, opposite the entrance door there were huge windows with gray curtains, and on the rest of the walls there were large mirrors. The walls were white and the floor was the color of the curtains. Many treadmills, a whole shelf with weights, bars at different heights and much more.

There was Yeosang talking with a man, she couldn't see his face since he was backwards. But he was wearing a white shirt without sleeves. His back was very developed and his waist was narrow. They were talking but in a second they turned to face Dae, she now saw that the man in white had a very pretty face and a calm expression.

Yeosang pointed at the girl with his hand and the other man nodded, looking at her. They approached her and Yeosang signaled to the police that they could leave now.

"This is our champion, he'll be training you from now on, until we won't find the truth and give a final verdict" Yeosang said gesturing with his hands and the champion looked at him and at her and smiled "Now discuss the training circumstances, I'm going back to work." he said and bowed, Kang went out the door

"I'm Choi San, so call me San" he said and put hands on waist "Umm, so we will be training, for now, without the king's knowledge, so don't brag about it left and right." he laughed

"Don't worry it's my first day here so I don't have anyone to talk to" she laughed sarcastically

"No but actually, nobody should know. We will focus on combat effectiveness because we don't have much time. So building muscle and stamina is a bit useless in such a short period of time." San said and at the same time he took a bandage out of his pocket to tie on her fists.

"I can do everything, I really don't wanna die because of innocence" she said watching him gently tying her fists

"So you're innocent? I mean you don't look like one of those psychopaths, but I don't know." San pouted his lips which Dae found cute

Even though he might seem intimidating with all his muscles, broad shoulders and several wounds, he seemed like a very friendly person once you got the chance to talk to him.

"I witnessed a murder, but when I wanted to help the woman, the man ran away and then the residents accused me" she said annoyed by how stupid it was

"Did you know her?" San asked "The woman"

"No" she said and San had just finished tying both of her hands. He led her in front of the punching bag, still maintaining eye contact with her "I don't know anyone here, okay, just one person"

"So you moved here?" he said and leaned his elbow against the wall and ran his hand through his hair, leaving it on the back of his neck "This city can suck for newbies, but it's really lovely sometimes"

"It's not that, I just" she looked at the window and then back at him "I lost my memory, and I just wanted to find out about it. The person who found me, I mean my friend, helped me and I was almost there but" she spread her arms "Now I'm stuck here" she exhaled

"Oh my God" San eyes opened more since he was shocked "It's pretty fucked up" he looked at the punching bag "I'll try to help you as much as I can" he smiled

"That's so sweet, thank you, but I can't just rely on others" Dae said with honest smile

"Helping others is not a problem, it is pure pleasure. But in your case, you have to learn to use it." San said which unlocked in her some comfort

Until the evening, San discussed various topics with her, she told him about Yunho and he told about the prince with whom he is friends with as well as with the singer. In the meantime, he showed her how to properly perform punches and, in general, martial arts that are allowed for duel.

He wanted to take her to her cell, but as soon as they reached the prison door, two policemen took her away.

"See you tomorrow Dae!" he said before they closed the door

"See you San!" she shouted but policeman pushed her forward

He's such a nice guy.

Dae was finally in her cell. She sat on the floor and wrapped herself in a blanket.

Okey, It will take some time but I can make it. I wonder now why Yeosang arranged training for me and wants to talk to the king about my situation. Does he believe me? The truth is that there is nothing to prove my innocence, but at the same what motive could I have for doing this? Motive, hmm, my motive is, wait

Dae straightened herself

I want to know, and Yunho is the one helping me. HE CAN PROVE I WAS WITH HIM AND GOT LOST. Why did it take me so long. He was stuck in my mind since I lost him. So he's the answer...
