Ch-29 | wasn't he

3rd person POV

Niki ran down the stairs from the rooftop ignoring the constant yells of Jay which came to an abrupt end as the students in the hallway noticed them. Niki walked into a classroom his eyes swooped high and low across the entire classroom , the person he was looking for stood leaning against the glass window laughing with her friends, he approached her with a tint of anger and disappointment in his eyes to how she could have even done this.

"can we talk?" Niki asked staring into the girl's soul while she stared at him confused to what he meant and her friends were even more confused to what happened

"Niki been so long" she smiled at the boy hoping he would at least smile at him but no, he kept giving her a blank expression

"can we talk outside?" Niki's voice was filled with range of anger but still managed to sound calm not as to startle her, she quietly nod and turned to her friends

"I'll be right back" she says walking behind the tall boy outside the classroom

"what is it Niki?" she asked the boy as they were far in a corner to not be heard by anyone

"this was your work am I right?" Niki says immediately showing her the video of Jay

"this video?" she glanced at the video and then up to the tall boy who stood there furious

"tell me the truth....Karina" Niki says tapping his foot on the floor constantly staring at her

"come on you can't be serious abot this right?" Karina says with a smile but instantly turned into a frown as she noticed the seriousness in Niki's face, like he wouldn't spare her

"so you did this? everything?" Niki asked her but she stared at him in disbelief

"what's wrong about it? it was his fault he got what he deserved" Karina frowns staring at Niki

"what did he do to you?" Niki says to her

"what's gotten into you Riki" Karina asked him still confused

"you could have told me if you planned on doing something like this" Niki says with disappointment in his eyes

"oh please you kept ignoring me for weeks what do you expect" Karina says frustrated

"take down the video" Niki says in desperation

"he deserved it he cheated, I did it for you for your team" Karina says staring at Niki waiting for him to smile at her

"I didn't ask you to interfere in my life  whether it's fair or not" Niki says glaring at the girl, he couldn't deny that she was doing it for them but still he had the urge to put Jay away from the mess

"but-" Karina's voice lowered, hurt that her own friend wasn't by her side instead he chose to defend the jerk

"I want the video to be down from every media platform by tomorrow and an apology post about it" Niki says gazing into her soul

"why are you doing this what about your friends, who is he to you" Karina asked but Niki stayed silent

"you care more about some guy's reputation rather than your own friends feeling?" Karina asked but still the boy did not respond

"come on we can do something even bigger than this" Niki said to her, but it was all lies coming of of his mouth

"you mean?" Karina asked confused

"I was planning on doing something more twisted" Niki says with a smirk

"you scared me for once dude" Karina laughed out hitting his shoulders playfully
