"It's for the best". Tears rolled out of Wonwoo's eyes.
"We can do long distance" Mingyu pleaded
"My degree... it'll take 4 years" Wonwoo tugged his sleeves to cover his hands "and you'll be doing university here. There's just no way"
Mingyu reached for Wonwoo's hands, gently holding them.
"Then just promise me, when you come back... we can try again" Mingyu whispered.
Wonwoo reached up to lay a quick kiss on Mingyu's lips.
"I promise I'll be back for you" Wonwoo spoke against his lips.
Those were the last words Mingyu heard from Wonwoo for the next 4 years.
