ZAHRIA

It was evening when our sex marathon came to an end, by that time I was ready to sleep through the night.

We snuggled together, my back to his front, his arm holding me tightly as if he was afraid I might disappear.

I was about to fall asleep when he said, "Let's go."

"Where?" I asked sleepily.

"To my place."

"You mean to your Uncle's house where you are living?" I teased.

He pinched my waist lightly. "I have my own house."

I chuckled. "Okay."

"Let's go." He repeated. "You are not staying here anymore."

I hesitated before saying, "Arien, I...I am going back to the States."

I felt him stiffen behind me. "No."

"Listen to me--"

"No." He rolled me over so that I was facing him and he gripped my jaw. "You are not going anywhere. You will stay with me."

"You are asking me to move in with you."

"Yes."

I sighed. "My parents are worried, I miss them. I have to go see them."

His jaw was locked tightly, eyes scrutinizing my face as he ruminated. "Then go see them, stay for a couple of days and come back."

"This is a huge step for me, Arien. Shifting to a different country...moving in with you."

"Are you regretting this?"

I shook my head. "No. I'm just afraid that we are moving too fast and then you will realise one day that you don't want me anymore."

"Don't be fucking ridiculous. That's not going to happen."

Before I could ask any more questions, he pressed his lips to mine, shutting me up.

"I will come along with you to meet your parents." He stated, pulling back.

"Really?"

He nodded, smirking. "It's only fair they meet their future son-in-law."

Chuckling, I smacked his shoulder playfully. "That's very smug of you."

We didn't mention anything about how they were not my real parents. In my heart, they are my real Mom and Dad.

He kissed my forehead. "Let's go, I'm sure Asael and Verena don't want us here anymore."

Oh shit. We have been too loud, I am sure they must have heard us.

Groaning, I buried my face in his chest. "Ugh, I won't be able to face them."

His chest rumbled with laughter. "The damage has been done now."

"Get up, darling." Warm lips grazed the corner of my mouth before he got up and grabbed his pants from the floor.
