Jay's heart was pounding as he sprinted as fast as he could, his legs a blur beneath him. He was desperate to escape the clutches of Ectro, the fearsome devil of death who was relentlessly pursuing him. Jay could hear Ectro's furious screams behind him, his high-pitched voice sounding strangely out of place for such a terrifying creature.
Jay couldn't help but smirk at Ectro's childish voice, goading him further. But as Ectro's eyes started to glow red with anger, Jay realized he might have pushed him too far. His heart sank as he considered his danger, and he quickly regretted making fun of the devil. Jay created an orb of light in his hand with a sudden burst of inspiration. He spun around and fired it at Ectro, the light illuminating the night sky. The orb hit Ectro square in the chest, causing him to stumble and fall to the ground. Jay didn't stop running until he was sure he was out of harm's way. The adrenaline was still pumping through his veins, and he felt more alive than ever.
As he walked away from Ectro, Jay began to feel unsure of himself. He had never been to this part of the land before and had no idea where he was going. After walking for what seemed like hours, he realized that he was lost. Frustrated, he kept walking, hoping to find a way back to Lightmoon. It wasn't long before he came across a bridge that seemed to be in the middle of nowhere. Jay wondered why the bridge was there, but he was too tired to think about it too much. He shrugged to himself and took the first step onto the bridge, but as he did, the plank he was standing on broke. His eyes slowly widened in fear as some other planks began to fall below him.
"Fuck"
Was the only thing that came out of his mouth as he began to free-fall towards the ground. Jay's heart raced as he fell, and he couldn't help but scream out in panic. Just as he thought it was all over, he noticed something strange in the distance. As he got closer, he realized that it was a portal to Darkmoon, which was the last place he wanted to go.
" Shit." He muttered, trying to turn himself around in the air, to have a...softer landing.
Fear mixed with more fear as Jay plummeted towards the portal. The only way out of this was down. But down could be death. Or worse. He didn't really want to think about it.
