There is a guy,
he's funny, he's nice
and unlike you, he doesn't make me feel like I'm walking on a thin layer of ice.
There is a guy,
he said: "I like you. A lot"
and I can't begin to tell how unprepared this had me caught.
He got me laughing, even more than you do.
But somehow I couldn't bring myself to say "I like you too".
My heart sank down my throat
he's such a sweet boy, but you're the one to which my heart's devote.
I might feel slightly warm in my now so cold chest, but that's not even a spark,
while thinking back, for you my heart burned so bad it could light up the dark.
Please god help me move on, i can't take this anymore,
I feel like a loyal dog waiting for his owner, but this isn't something worth waiting for.
