Tatiana's POV
I was at my house, choosing my outfit for Mel's birthday dinner that's on Friday when I heard a knock on the door.
My parents went out this week for a little vacation & Mel wasn't coming over so I didn't know who it was.
I went down the stairs, I head to the door & opened.
And...there she was.
I couldn't believe my eyes.
"Missed me?" She said.
It was Nicole.
She moved/disappeared in the first months of junior year last year.
No one knew why.
But I did.
"What are you doing here?" I asked.
She walked in.
"Are you not happy to see me?" She said.
I was intimidated by her.
"Nicole...leave." I said.
She stared at me.
"Why? I thought you would like to catch up." She said with that devious smile of hers.
I knew she wanted something.
"Why are you here?" I asked.
"Well, just wanted to talk..." She paused.
"And...to get my revenge." She said.
I knew what she was talking about.
"Nicole, don't."
"Why?"
"Because...no. It's wrong."
She stood up & got closer.
"It didn't seem wrong to you last time."
I looked at her.
"You can't hold something that happened over a year ago against me."
"Why not? Oh...I forgot. You don't want your little best friend to find out how awful you are to her."
It all hit me again at once.
Over a year ago, when I was mad at Mel & when I hooked up with Grayson, I asked Nicole; one of Grayson's ex to help me get revenge on Melanie.
Nicole & Grayson secretly dated during the summer before coming back to junior year, but he cheated on her with Mel & Mel never knew about her.
I told Nicole everything about Melanie & Grayson & Nicole helped spread the word all over the school about the friends with benefits between them.
Nicole & I made little plans to get back at Mel.
The fight between me & Mel during cheer practice was planned.
Mel's dad was the principal of the school so he helped me not get into trouble. Nothing ever went on my record about the fight. But it did for Melanie which got her kicked off the team.
But after Melanie & I made up & after she told me she was pregnant, I called off all the plans Nicole & I made. That made Nicole furious. She wanted revenge. I told her how Melanie was pregnant with Grayson's baby & how Melanie was going to New York.
A few days later, Nicole soon confessed to me how she was also pregnant but not with Grayson's baby. But with some other guy's baby. Nicole never wanted anyone to know she was pregnant so she left the state as well but she promised she would get revenge on Grayson & Mel when she came back. And I guess now she's back & ready for her revenge.
I regretted ever being acquainted with Nicole because I was turning my back on Mel. I wanted to destroy Melanie. But I'm not that person anymore. Knowing Nicole, she will do anything to destroy Melanie.
Nicole went to my kitchen to sit & saw the invitation to Mel's dinner.
"What is this?" Nicole asked as she played with it.
I tried to snatch it from her but she moved her hand out of my reach.
"What is this?" She repeated.
I looked at her.
"Nothing." I replied.
She raised her eyebrow as she opened the invitation.
She read it to herself & after a few seconds she put it down.
She stood up & said,
"Tell them to make room for two more. I love crashing parties." She said as she headed towards my door.
"Two?" I asked confused.
"Yes. I have a child too." She said as she walked slower.
I walked behind her.
"Nicole, don't do anything." I said.
Nicole stopped & looked at me.
"Bye, Tatiana." She said as she left.
I jumped a little when the door slammed behind her.
Nicole was more intimidating than ever.
