"Hey, Babe,"

"What's got you looking so radiant this morning?"

Shanice's eyes sparkled. I got a call from Trishana the realtor, and she's found something that meets all our criteria."

Daniel's eyes widened with anticipation. "Really? That's amazing news! What did she say?"

"She mentioned that she'll be emailing me all the details shortly. Location, size – everything. Shanice explained, her excitement bubbling over.

Daniel grinned, setting his coffee aside. "That's fantastic, Babe! I can't wait to see what she found. We're one step closer."

Shortly after, Shanice's phone pinged with the arrival of Trishana's email. She opened it eagerly, and together, they scrolled through the details. The land found its place in the enchanting landscape of Portland, boasting a setting that blended beauty and tranquility. Tucked away in a picturesque location, it offered a perfect harmony between seclusion and accessibility. The size of the land was ideal, and the price was great too.

"This looks incredible What do you think, "

"I love it. It's everything we've been looking for...I can't wait to see it in person, Daniel."

The room buzzed with anticipation as everyone exchanged excited glances. Daniel motions for everyone to lower their voices. "Shanice is upstairs taking a nap, and we want to keep this proposal a surprise, right?"

"I want to ask her to marry me again," Daniel declared, a mixture of determination and love in his eyes.

In the dimly lit, clandestine meeting room, Daniel, sat across from FBI Agent, Agent Anderson. The air hung heavy with tension, a delicate dance between loyalty and the shadowy world of crime and justice.

"Mr Saint Aubrey," Agent Anderson began, his tone measured, "I wanted to personally thank you for the invaluable intel you've provided. It's been crucial in dismantling one of the major drug syndicates operating in our community."

Daniel, though maintaining a stoic demeanor, felt a subtle mix of relief and concern. His alliance with the FBI had always been a delicate balance, a strategic move to protect his family while navigating the complexities of organized crime.

Agent Anderson continued, "Thanks to your cooperation, we've secured numerous convictions. The Assistant District Attorney is pleased, and the deal you struck to avoid prison time remains intact. You've held up your end of the bargain."

Daniel nodded, his eyes revealing the weight of the choices he had made. "I did what I had to do," he replied

"I know this isn't an easy path for you, Daniel You've been walking on a tightrope, but your assistance has undeniably made our community safer. We won't forget that."

As the meeting concluded, Agent Anderson extended a hand. "Take care of yourself, Daniel. Don't forget that you have allies in unexpected places."

Daniel shook the agent's hand.

As he left the meeting room, he couldn't escape the reality that, in this world of shadows, every action had consequences that rippled far beyond the immediate moment.

"Its Done" Daniel says as he meets Remi outside the meeting room. "I've spent my life surrounded by darkness, Remi but there's someone who has brought light into my world. I want to build a life with her, far removed from the shadows of my past." he continues

Remi placing a supportive hand on Daniel's shoulder. "it's never too late to choose a different path. I just hope this life is ready to let go of you.

"I want out, Remi. I want to leave the family business, sever ties with my father's empire. I want to create something meaningful, something that doesn't involve blood money or power struggles," Daniel confessed.

Remi nodded, understanding the gravity of Daniel's decision

"I want a chance at a normal life, a chance to be with Shanice without the constant threat of danger hanging over us."

"I'll stand by you, Daniel, no matter what you decide. But you have to be prepared for the consequences."

"I am," Daniel affirmed, a flicker of determination in his eyes.

"I'm willing to face whatever comes my way. For the first time, I want to be in control of my destiny "

"I know man"

"Thank you, Remington, I couldn't do this without you by my side."

Remi nodded, his commitment evident.

Loyalty isn't just a job for me ; it's a choice I've made because of the person you are. No matter what happens, you can count on me."
