(Set during Captain America:Winter Soldier during the fight scene on the highway and I'm calling him Bucky during this because that was easier than saying "the winter soldier" every time)
Bucky and Sara had gone through similar experiences. Being taken by HYDRA, experimented on, forgetting their previous lives, and being known as assets. With their similar style and ability to work together, they were assigned as a team to take out Steven Rogers.
While Bucky had his arm, Sara didn't have anything missing or replaced; just enhanced. She had become stronger, faster, and better in general. She didn't need much training, she was programmed to know most of what she would need. Sara was able to handle a gun with ease, knock someone out with one punch, and kill someone with a simple neck snap. HYDRA would try to use her for any mission they could get her to do. But, she would need to regenerate and HYDRA did also love using Bucky. The two of them became the ideal killing squad.

The day of the attack, Bucky was assigned to take the first few hits on Steve, and Sara would occupy him until Bucky got to where they would end up being. But, what they weren't expecting was the two other people they would be fighting.
When Sara and Bucky were on the bridge, Bucky told her to go after Steve and he would go for the woman. Sara then jumped off the bridge, landing on a car. She stayed there, examining the area and finding the right time to attack Steve. He started running out of the bus and she started to fire her gun. Hitting only his shield, she started running for him to go for some real attacks. Once she got to him, she knocked him in the back of the knee to get him down. She then threw some blows to his temples, and he began to grow weaker. Just when she was about the throw another punch, he turned and knocked her down using his shield. Sara landed on her back and paralyzed for a few seconds. Steve took that chance to get away and attack the others shooting at him.
Sara slowly got up, but then took just a second to get herself back to normal and grab her gun. She thought she'd try to get the other man that was with Steve and the woman. She loaded, aimed to where he was standing and fired. The first one grazed his arm and then the next one hit his shoulder. He went down, and Sara decided it was time for her and Bucky to attack Steve together.

Sara heard the ringing of the shield and the arm colliding. She knew Bucky would need help to take down Steve. Steve didn't know Sara was there, so she snuck behind him and shot at him. Those shots to the back of his legs helped to knock him down, but not enough. Steve took hold of Bucky and flipped him over. He got back up, without his mask.
"Bucky?"
"Who the hell is Bucky?"
Sara saw the woman aim at Bucky.
As Bucky aimed at him, Sara ran and grabbed him to get him out of the way of the ammunition. It blew up, and Sara and Bucky had gotten away in another HYDRA vehicle.
Bucky looked at Sara, confused.
"I knew him."
