This is a crossover fanfic inspired by both Gate: Jieitai Kano Chi nite, Kaku Tatakaeri & Encantadia but this fanfic will be heavily focused for Encantadia, this will not follow the same story of Gate but it will feature the same concept of a portal...
Author's Note: Ayooo again guys! Took a while but im back to writing this fanfic, Im done with my thesis (Well sort of...Its a passed but needs some revisions) my OJT is coming soon so before all stuff goes down I just have to release this chapter since im not sure if im able to get some free time again rip. Well this is the chapter on where the people of Earth and Encantandia will first meet so some of the original plot of Encantadia will be changed for the purpose of this fanfic. Please do take note [if the font or the text is written in italic like this in the middle of the conversation it just means that the locals are speaking in Enchanta which is the language of Encantadia] while normal text is just either tagalog or english which of course the filipino characters will translate for our international friends lol. June 26 20XX, Location Unknown, Other Side Of The Portal (8:10 A.M. Philippine Standard Time)
The military convoy of the UNTF started crossing the GATE, their vehicles moving in synchronous formation to implement a phased approach. Three divisions, each with three squadrons, and one lead APC where the three high-ranking military officers are giving their orders. The leading division that first entered the portal consists of ASCOD II Light Tanks with the callsign 'Sibat Division,' acting as the first line of defense in case things goes south. As the three divisions of Sibat crossed the portal, the next to follow were the M113 FSVs with the callsign 'Kalasag Division,' succeeded by the Kagitingan Division, a combination of Pandur II FSVs and the Simba Armored Personnel Carrier. At the very rear is a Simba APC carrying the three UNTF officers with the callsign 'Lakan.
As the convoy emerged out of the darkness of the portal the lead squadron of Sibat found themselves in the heart of a midnight forest. Behind them, they saw the portal embraced within two large tree trunks standing side by side. These grand trunks curving gracefully and their crowns intertwining overhead, creating a captivating natural archway that covers the portal. While the rest of the convoy crossed through the Sibat Divisions slowly spread themselves out to secure the perimeter when suddenly a tank commander spotted some movement deep in the forest.
Tank Commander: "Movement sighted, Engage hostiles! Fire at will!"
General Petrov: "All units, fire at will!"

The thunderous echoes of tank cannons reverberated through the mystical forest as the ASCOD 2 light tanks, led by the tank squadron Sibat, reached the other end of the portal. The tank commanders swiftly executed the phased approach, spreading out in a defensive formation to secure the perimeter.
"Sibat 1, firing! Sibat 2 covering the left flank! Sibat 3, moving into position. Engaging!" Each tank commander made their move, firing into the void of the night. While it seemed they were shooting at nothing but moving leaves and bushes, within the tanks, gunners using thermal sights confirmed the presence of something moving within the forest.
