"Well, it is my day off from the KOF's work... Alright, lead me to him." He said, smiling as he would apparently have an interesting night today.
"Good good!" She said, smiling as she brought both of her hands together. "Let's go, follow me!" Taking his hand, both of them head to the Dawn Winery.
While walking there, he watched as the civilians stared at him, while smiling.
Of course, it was expected. He had a large reputation of the Hero of Mondstadt, multiple times saving the city from threats and evil doers. While he wasn't regretting doing so, he didn't feel as great to be called a Hero.
It was often that fellow Knights were envious of his achievements, but he paid them no mind as it was simply their fault to not be able to do their job as efficient as he could.
"How is your father?" He asked, as he could remember he had gotten the same illness as his brother.
"He's... stable." He noticed the girl's worry, as such he avoided the topic from now on, not wanting to bring a bad mood to his day.
After walking for some time, he couldn't help but notice she was walking slightly off the path, often checking her map and looking around.
"Are you lost or something?" He asked, as the girl turned around, smiling awkwardly, "Of course not, I'm just not sure where's the merchant..." She said, as she turned around again. Suddenly, an arrow came straight towards his head, but he quickly dodged it, and unsheathed his sword.
"Who's there!?" He yelled, surprising the woman who quickly understood the situation and unsheathed her sword as well.
"Quick, hide behind me. I'll take care of this." He said, as he couldn't help but think this woman will only bring problems if she fought alongside him. "Oh, alright." She agreed, and stood behind him.
A man with a mask on appeared, and he shot another arrow towards Yurei, who blocked it with his sword.
"This guy, out of nowhere, too!"
As he was about to attack as well, he was surprised by six more masked men appearing around him, quickly surrounding him and Bren.
"Huh? How the hell did-" Yurei was surprised by the cold blade piercing through his back. In shock, he was able to see Bren, holding a bloodied blade as she smirked. "Oh? Did you seriously not notice?" She said, as the others took off their masks as well, revealing to be all Knights of Favonius, who once fought alongside him.
"W-WHAT'S THE MEANING OF THIS!?" He shouted, as he fell to his knees, not being able to feel his legs anymore. "It's all your fault! You always stole the spotlight! Ever since you were born, you had everything! And you want to take all we had as well!? Fuck you, you asshole!" She spoke loudly, kicking him multiple times, as the others began yelling and beating him up.
"Thanks to you, I won't be able to pay off my father's medications! You fucker!" She yelled, before stabbing him once more with her sword.
"Take that, asshole!" They all yelled, having multiple hits on the fallen body.
- ... Dirty... Traitors... - He thought, as life dissapeared from his eyes.
Soon after unleashing their rage on the body, they placed him on a large bag, carrying his body to Dragonspine.
Once they were there, they dug up a hole and threw his body inside, freezing it by throwing water and covering it using dirt.
They all spat on the dirt, as they had left it right after.
.
.
.
A few months later, his soul still lingered around the same dirt hole, not being able to leave.
