Cyclops guided the group down the hall, still in uniform. Wally was still gushing about Cyclops' performance in the training room when Cyclops asked them, "So how long have you guys been together?"

"Quite a while." Wally said.

"About a month." Dick also said, both at the same time.

The group stared at Wally confusingly as Wally had a look of surprise, "I-It feels like we've been together for ages. We're quite the team." Wally said.

Cyclops let out a little chuckle, "Well it's good to know you all are actually a team and not trying to be."

"Soo... Your power is lasers?" Artemis questioned.

"No. My eyes are a portal to an alternate non-Einsteinian dimension of near limitless power." He explained.

"So can you just switch it on and off or not?" Superboy then asked.

"Not that either. I have these goggles and a custom set of glasses to control it and to see." He explained, tapping against his goggles as he did so.

They eventually made it to a door at the end of the hallway, "You all stay behind me." he ordered as Jean and Storm walked up to Cyclops' side and the team stepped back. Cyclops crouched in front of the center of the door and it scanned his eye. It then opened, revealing a large circular room.

Inside, there was a long walkway leading to the center of the room. The room was shaped in an orb and the ground was quite a distance down under the walkway. The end of the walkway also had a small circular end with a console. Sitting in front of the console, was Xavier with a weird looking hat on that was connected to the console.

"Just don't fall off." Jean added and the group walked across the walkway towards Xavier. The door suddenly shut behind them, making Wally jump and turn around to look at it.

From around the door, the room suddenly began to morph into an empty abyss of darkness. Wally stepped back anxiously and bumped into Peter. "Do not worry, Mister West." Xavier spoke, making Wally turn back to the team and Xavier.

In the darkness, shapes of humans began to appear in a bright light in smoke. The teenage group were all amazed. "...What is this?" Kaldur asked.

"This... is everyone." Xavier told him as the group turned around, getting a view of all everything. "Every single person living on this Earth... And I can see them and enter their mind..." Some of the displayed people faded away and the ones that were left were displayed in blue, "These... are humans..." The display of humans all faded away and the people that previously disappeared, reappeared in a red color, "And these... are aaalll the mutants..." As if they were driving, all the displays sped past them and once it slowed, a quatret of mutants then stopped beside them...

It was them. Cyclops, Storm, Jean, and Xavier. Except none of the team was there. They were all in awe.

But that awe was interrupted when Cyclops then spoke to Xavier, "Did you find her, yet?" he asked.

Xavier sighed and the displays shut down, along with the abyss. The room was back to normal. Xavier turned back towards the team, "No, I unfortunately have not. Whatever Erik has done has somehow hid her from even my eyes. And if she is not in his captivity, she is certainly good at hiding." he explained as he walked past everyone with everyone stepping out of the way to let him past.

"And who is this person you all are looking for?" Kaldur questioned as they all began to follow the mutants.

The door opened and they all walked down the hall, "As you know, we are trying to stop Trask from creating a weapon that may eliminate all mutants from the face of this planet. We are not the only ones that are trying to stop this." Xavier explained as they made their way inside the elevator. They then realized something. "... We may have to enter in groups." An amused smile appeared on Jean's face when she realized the problem.
