The plane had just landed and my phone was hot and almost dead from me being on FaceTime with Redd, she made me so happy and less depressed like I used to be and I want to treat her like she needs to be treated and not like how everyone treated her when they had her, hopefully she doesn't break my heart and leave me in the dark while she runs off with a stud with dreads and taller than her.
"My love let me call you back" she shuffles and sets her phone down on her desk and getting a good view of her and her surroundings I nod and look around for my mom who was sitting away from me, " Alright I just landed anyways and they not letting us off yet so!" I drag the O and look into the camera to see her already staring at me, I blush and bury my face in my jacket "What?" The pilot comes on over the intercom and dismisses us, as if on cue everyone stands up and start grabbing luggage off the carryon thing, " Let me call you when I get to my Grandmas house?!" I stand up and start pushing through the traffic of rushing people, she laughs as she watches me apologize for all the times I pushed, stomped, kicked, or hurt anyone, pouting I send a small angry face at her
"Not funny" I say, finally get off the plane and into the airport which was full of people getting ready to leave or coming in, "Alright Redd I'm going to call you later" catching sight of my mom I was towards her "Bye my love" she waved and blows a kiss before hanging up, sighing I place my phone in my back pocket " Ready Mama?" She looks at me as I ask her and she nods " Come on girl you know your grandma gets impatient when it comes to you" she rolls her eyes as if she jealous, raising my brows I decide to tease her " Mama. You mad? Wait are you jealous?!" I throw my hands to my mouth in a playful way gaining a laugh from my mom, "Girl bye I was here first" she flips her hair and we head to get our bags.
I was excited to see the whole family at grandmas, me and grandma had the best bond since I was always helping her and I was just the most respectful person she knew out there whole family so we created a separate bond together, no one had her back like I did when it came to her.
***************** We had just got to the mini hotel room, " Mom isn't everyone at grandma's?" As I set my things down on the all white covers, she nods and sighs " Yeah but I don't have time to beef with Cousin Kiel right now I just want my mom and family" she sighs and sits down rubbing her temple, I nod and shift my weight on my other foot as this had gotten real weird. "Well you know she's going to call and so is the other family and you know I can't lie to grandma" I place my phone on the bed as I plop on it, she nods "Well shower first and we'll get ready once I'm done"'she looks at me with a small smile, I nod and grab a simple dress and head to the bathroom to take a quick shower
As I'm stripping my grandma texts me just like I expected so I quickly just called her instead
"Hey baby" her soft sweet Hispanic thick accent says through the phone " Heyy granny I've missed you" I step in the shower and the fog starts like right away " Me too darling but when are y'all coming? Have y'all landed already" she shuffles and yells in the back at one of my Cousins to sit down, I laugh at her since she know they not going to listen, " Yes mami we are on the way now" I say while washing my back, I hear a satisfied hum then the line cuts, I gasp at the suddenness, I groan and continue bathing.

As I'm sliding on my shoes my mom enters the room "Ready?" She pants as she grabs a water from the mini fridge, I nod and pull my cardigan on my shoulders before grabbing my phone and purse "Ready let's go" she nods at my request and we leave out the room and down the hall

As we're driving in the cab down the busy street all the memories of me and my friends and family at the square at night having fun and watching all the people dance and eating the best foods, most people wanted big gifts like iPhones and tablets and cars but me I just wanted gift cards I can spend at the deli down the street from my grandmas old house, as we past by the pedestrians I wave and smile at the dogs and people.
Reaching my grandmothers house I quickly exit the car and pull down my dress that rose up, looking back to make sure my mom exited the car " Mom!" I groan, she couldn't walk any slower which was blowing me and making me less patient by the second, she laughs and passes me " Come on you impatient bird" she knocks on the pink door, I was excited but nervous to see everyone since it's been a year and I'm older and taller now,
The door swings open and my grandmother is standing there with a huge smile on her wrinkly soft skin causing my skin to tingle in a good way, running to her I engulf her into a bone crushing her tiny frame, she laughs like music to my ears, "Hey mani baby come in" she pulls away and widens the door, as I step inside I'm finally noticing all the loud noises and my family around the house, as of heat me they turn and look at me causing me to wave and laugh "Hey y'all" walking into the kitchen i see my uncle Ronny eating my grandmas food which she cooked for herself " Hey unc long time no see"
He smiles and pulls me into a quick side hug, "You've gotten so big I'm proud of you" backing away from him I smile and move around the house and socialize with my family but mostly Aliah my favorite cousin, as we are gossiping my phone rings, paying no mind I decline the call and continue talking with Aliah on her bed, "So talking to any one new?" She smirks at me making me blush and smack my teeth "Girl yes her names Redd" as I mention her name my phone rings but this time lifting it up I squeal and look at Aliah "She's FaceTiming me right now!"Taking deep breaths Aliah squeals and scoots closer to me "Come on answer" she pushes me
Nodding I answer it and the most beautiful face pops up and my breath is taken away from me "Wow!" I say in a whisper, I'm guessing she heard and she starts giggling and smiling showing off those pearly whites, she looks me in the eyes and I look away "H-Hey" l mentally face palming myself since I'm a stuttering mess infringe of my girlfriend who I've dated for a good couple weeks, "Hey my love are you in New York already?" She sets the phone down and the noise of shuffling makes me cringe the hardest, nodding my head I place the phone down on Aliah night stand "Baby?" I say while looking at Aliah in the face, "Yes?" She looks up from her table, kind of confused and less interested in what she was doing.
"Meet my cousin Aliah she's 16" I introduced my cousin to her, Aliah smirks and bites her lip with a cheeky smile, oh no she doesn't, "Hey Aliah" she waves and smiles, "Hey Redd" Aliah flirty waves, Redd laughs and blushes "Anyways babe call me when you get by yourself I miss you" she pouts and leans forward on her elbows with a small little pout playing on those soft lips of hers, I was a bit mad I didn't kiss her before I left to go to New York "Me too" I stare at her from the phone smiling softly
Out of no where she says "I want to just eat you out so bad" Shocked and flustered I blush and quickly hang up and shoot her a quick text as I stare at the wide eyes and jaw dropped Aliah

I place my orders gone down and turn to face my Aliah smiling softly. Wow that actually happened just now.
