Beginnings and Endings

Peter and Alice were in her room just sitting there talking "I really like nature" she mentioned "Yea" he smiled, she's said this multiple times but he doesn't care "I want a circuit board for Christmas" she looked at him "That would be cool" he laid down "Yea, I like doing things with my hands" she smiled happily "I know" he smiled at her

Alice had started making cookies since Bucky was out at dinner with Nat "I love baking" she grabbed the whisker from Peter "I can tell" he chuckled and watched as she whisked the dry ingredients together, then the wet, then as she started mixing the wet and dry "Can you get me a cookie sheet with some of the white paper type stuff" she asked then looked up at him "Parchment paper, and yea" he walked to the cabinets "Right yea, thanks" she never hated when someone corrected her words when she forgot them, it helped remember the next time "You're welcome" he chuckled then handed it to her

Peter was reading when Alice sat beside him with her sketchbook "You know Snow white didn't come to American theaters until February 4 1938?" She looked at her sketchbook and started drawing "Oh really?" he always liked when he told her facts "Mhm" she smiled then looked at him "That's cool" he smiled then shut his book "I know right" she bounced happily for a second "God she's adorable when she's happy" he thought while watching her and paying attention to every word she said even if she changed the subject every time she tried to remember what she was going to say but he didn't care, all he cared about when he was with her was, well her

"Alice" Peter walked into her room from just getting a snack "Yea?" she looked up from a book she was reading "Can I talk to you about something?" he sat beside her "Yea, of course" she smiled softly "Ok, cool" he smiled back "Well" she raised an eyebrow "I- Ok- I don't want to make this weird but I- uhm- I th-" he stuttered "Want some water?" she asked him "No I'm fine, uhm, I don't think words describe this so uhm" he smiled nervously then pecked her on the lips "Uh- You- I-" she started but couldn't finish "I think you need some water now" he joked "I like you too" she smiled

Peter was just leaving when Bucky walked in with Nat "Dad!" Alice smiled and ran over to him "Hey kiddo" he smiled and hugged her while picking her up "Hi Mama" she smiled at Nat as she wrapped her arms around Bucky's next and yawning "Hi little one" Nat smiled at Bucky who had turned around to look at her once Alice had called her Mama "Did you and Peter have fun" he smiled back at Nat while mouthing something then started to stroke Alice's hair "Yea, we made cookies and I talked about my week, and how I like making things and a whole lot of other stuff" she went on rambling from minutes until eventually she lost her train of thought and zoned out to try and remember what she was going to say but fell asleep

Once Bucky had finished petting Alice in bed he went to his room and sat beside Nat "She called me Mama" she spoke softly but happily "Yea, she looks up to you" he kissed her forehead "Really?" she looked at him "Yea, the other she was telling me about how much she likes when you guys hang out" he smiled "She's so adorable" she chuckled while smiling
