Chapter 9 - What is a dilemma?

Kat gave me a disapproving look and I rolled my eyes. "She isn't even home that much, don't give me that look." She handed me her laptop and I looked down. My eyes widened at what was on the screen. "H-h..." Kat smirked, "Everyone and their mother is on Facebook."

I stared at Yejun's Facebook. His profile picture showed what students never saw: his smile. His smile was wide, showing off his perfect teeth. His eyes smiled too. I couldn't help but stare at it. I felt my heart flutter at how photogenic he was. His hair was down to his shoulders, I surprisingly found that more hot. It was different from the bed head he rocked everyday. He really should keep his hair long.

How can a person like him find me attractive? It's so hard to believe, maybe there's a catch. "Did you Google Translate his name? Like, this shit is in Korean." Kat laughed as she lightly punched my arm, "There's something called looking up names. Apparently, Yejun isn't a popular Korean name, so he wasn't hard to find. Minho is a really popular Korean name. When I searched it, there was like 1,000 pages. You better be glad, you bum."

I stared at her in awe. "You're amazing, like holy crap." She smirked and took her laptop back. Yejun looked extremely young. "What year is that picture from?" She clicked on it but sigh. "He's one of them. His pictures and information are private. Thankfully, we can look through his cover photos."

We sta--, looked through what we could for the next hour, staying on one thing for about ten minutes. Everything was in Korean, and we had it translated. We tried to make sense out of the translations since it would be all over the place at times, but by the end, we found out Yejun is from Incheon and has a small group of friends. We also saw a picture of a blue violin in a case, but there was no caption. Kat put the laptop aside and turned to me.

Her icy blue eyes, although comforting, were deep in thought. I saw the gears turning in her irises as she thought of different scenarios and ways to make me feel better. I simply gave her a small smile. "Don't think too much, we will find out more later."

"Dude, I hate you so much. It's like you're a Taekwondo master when you're asleep." I muttered as we walked through the hallways. Last night, Kat and I went to bed around 3. We ended up watching Netflix, which was a bad idea. Unfortunately, Kat has a tendency to kick the shit out of people when she's asleep. I felt my leg and glared at her. She simply grinned and headed off to her first period.

Kat's voice ran through my head. "You need to confront him. It's either you or Cindy." I took a deep breath; the first couple of periods flashed in a second. I ended up sleeping in Government, but thankfully Andrews is a dope teacher and let me sleep. My eyes were wide as I climbed the stairs to the 1046 gym. I blinked hard and tried to stay awake, but my tiredness was killing me.

I heard voices inside and closed my eyes. My heart was throbbing in my ears. He hates me, I know it. "Len." My heart stopped as my palms became sweaty. I took a deep breath and looked behind me. Confused muddy brown eyes stared at me and I let out a relieved sigh. "Are you okay?" asked Alaric. I gave him a small smile, "Yeah... Erhm, I'm going to go change." Before he could say something else, I slipped into the girls' locker room.

After changing and locking my things up, I entered the gym. I felt the anger; the tension. I felt his dark eyes follow my every move. I looked down at my hands and wiped them on my shorts. Alaric was talking to others and Kat didn't even make it yet. I'm going to die. Outside was cold, but the gym was extremely hot- or was it just me?

Why doesn't anyone notice how he's looking at me? Is everyone that submerged in their own world to not see this? I wanted to look up at him, but I was afraid I wouldn't be able to look away. That's how captivating his eyes are, and I hate them for that.
