when i got home, my dad sat on the sofa with me.

"maría. i need to speak to you" he said.

"sí" i said.

"i think you have grown up too privileged. you need to know what it is like to live a normal lifestyle. that's why i'm sending you to live with one of the girls" he said.

"what no" i said.

"i'm sorry marí but your behaviour is unacceptable. you need to learn to change the way you act" he said.

"which girl?" i questioned.

"leah" he said.

"your joking. why her" i rolled my eyes at the name.

how can someone so pretty be so annoying. she honestly makes my blood boil and i haven't even known her 24 hours.

"pack your things. your going there tonight" he said.

"what the hell" i said loudly.

"this is exactly what i mean. you have no respect for me as your father" he said.

i rolled my eyes and stomped upstairs.

i went into my no longer room and put everything that i had taken out of my bags, back in.

"i need a car then" i said as i came down.

"here" he gave me the keys to a ferrari.

"gracias papá" i said.

he helped me put my things in the car. i had quite a lot so he put some in his car and came with me.

we got to leah's house and i stood outside with my dad.

"does it have to be her house" i said.

"sí maría stop complaining" he said. i groaned and knocked on the door.

she opened the door and smiled awkwardly.

"nice car" she said.

"i know" i said.

"maría delgado sánchez" my dad sighed.

"gracias leah" i sighed.

"come in" she said and let us in.

"would you like anything to drink" she offered.

"your best wine" i said.
she raised her eyebrow at me.

"we're fine thank you leah" dad said.

we sat on the sofa.

"i want to thank you for taking her leah." he said.

"yeah its fine" she said.

"maria i want you be be good. this is for you, so you can become a better person." he said.

"Por favor no me hagas quedarme papá. Mal cambio lo prometo (please dont make me stay dad. ill change i promise)" i said.

"pero no lo harás. Esta es la única manera. (but you wont. this is the only way)" he said.

"okay i'm going now. best behaviour marí" he said.

he got up and went to his car, getting out my things.

we brought everything inside and he left.
