A magnificent white Elk emerged from the shadows, its coat glistening in the dim light, a beacon of grace amidst the darkness. It stood there, and in that moment it felt as if its eyes locked with Anaynah's, a silent connection forming between two beings in this enchanted realm.
It was The Spirit of the Forest. A moment of tranquillity shattered by the sound of an arrow being drawn back.

As she broke her gaze away from the elk, she followed the sound to see Thorin with his bow at the ready

As she broke her gaze away from the elk, she followed the sound to see Thorin with his bow at the ready.

"What are you doing?" Bilbo slurred his words.

Thorin replied not as his gaze was fixated. In a split second, Thorin drew back the string. Fear gripped Athena's heart as she cried out, her voice a desperate plea to protect this wondrous creature. But before she knew what she was doing, she leapt up from the ground and threw herself in Thorin's direction. The impact caused him to stumble backwards as Anaynah toppled to the ground, his arrow now shot off course. Miraculously, the arrow ricocheted off a rock, sparing the majestic elk from harm. Now spooked, the elk bounced away back into the thick forest trees.

Fueled with anger, Thorin looked to the Ranger at his feet

Fueled with anger, Thorin looked to the Ranger at his feet. She appeared disorientated, so was he as he did not realise that he had knelt to roughly grab her by the collar to face him.
