The kinda sequel to my Pokemon Incorrect Quotes book, except there's more than just incorrect quotes here lol. Literally just a place where any of my Pokemon-related ideas will be dumped cause I dunno why not.
First Pokemon requested was Garchomp, specifically suggesting it to be turned red!
I'm absolutely not surprised at all that Garchomp was the first request. Its shiny is probably the most notorious example (alongside Gengar maybe) of a shiny that looks identical to its regular form. Thankfully, I'm here to make it better!

This is the first of two redesigns I made for Garchomp, this one including the suggested red. I also changed its underbelly white and its eyes blue, but I felt like the yellow parts still looked alright here.
Also I just realized this now, but if I had just swapped the places of the blue and yellow, then it would've kinda looked like Garchomp's beta design lol.
Honestly though, literally any changes would be an improvement. Personally, I'd rather have an ugly shiny than a shiny that literally doesn't change at all.

Alternatively, I made a second redesign using the color palette of shiny Gible, which unlike Garchomp, has a fantastic shiny. I think I like this one more than the other, but that's probably because I just like blue more than red I guess.
