Akira's POV

We played tag on the shore as we didn't have anything to do. Lo'ak won...

I ain't happy about that.

" Aww, sad that I won?" Lo'ak smirked. I started to chase him. He ran away, laughing.

" Damn you, skxawng!" I cursed as I ran faster. The others were laughing loudly.

" EEKK!"

I shoved Lo'ak down, making us roll in a tumble like a pack of wild puppies. I tugged at Lo'ak's queue. Lo'ak tugged mine in return.

" OWWW!" he wailed.

" GET YOUR HANDS OFF, LO!" I yelled as I tugged harder.

" YOU LET GO!"

"NO, YOU LET GO FIRST!"

"OK!" He let go just as a pair of feet stood before us. We glanced at each other and pushed away. I got up and brushed the sand off my clothes. Lo'ak held his queue and pouted. This baby. I looked at the person whose feet belonged to.

Aonung.

No.

Not only Aonung.

Tsireya.

Tsireya too.

Aw shit. I made a huge embarrassment of Lo'ak. Sorry.

Not.

I rubbed by neck as I smiled as sweetly as I could.

" I'm sorry, but...what was all that about?" Tsireya asked as she crossed her arms.

" Nothing..." Lo'ak and I muttered. We exchanged looks, and silent communication.

Lo'ak - ' Dammit'

Akira- ' Your fault, Lo'

Lo'ak- ' My queue hurts...'

Akira- ' I know '

Lo'ak - ' You?'

Akira - ' Like hell'

Lo'ak - ' Really?!'

Akira - ' No, not really...hehe'

" Ah hem," Aonung coughed. Both of us glared at him.

" Woah!" he exclaimed.

" What?" Lo'ak and I hissed in sync.

" You guys are literally like twins! With all the, umm, you know," he explained. Lo'ak and I exchanged smirks. If we really were twins, there'd be more chaos. Neteyam walked up to us.

" Why are you here? Is there anything you need?" Neteyam asked. Tuk ran up to us and hugged my leg. Adorable. Kiri caught up and stood beside me, a hand on my shoulder.

" We're having a bonfire tomorrow night, like a campfire. But it's only for teens. No adults. Or kids. We want to invite you guys over." Tsireya said excitingly.

" I think I'll pass," I declined.

" Aww, come on! It'll be fun!" Tsireya persuaded. I shook my head.

" You guys go ahead," I said as I started to walk away. I wasn't going to cause trouble.

" Come on, Kira!" Lo'ak said as he grabbed my arm.

" We're all going...except for Tuk..."

" AWWW..." Tuk pouted.

" Sorry Tuk, but you heard what she said," Lo'ak told her.

" Come on, Kira," Neteyam said as he tugged my arm. After much persuading. And whining. And pleading. I agreed.

" Fine..."

" You won't regret it!" Tsireya exclaimed.

" I think I will," I sassed.

Great...
