34: Equilibrium

An eye for an eye ,
A tooth for a tooth
What you've borrowed ,
Is what you have to pay
No more than ,
No less...
A balanced life ,
A balanced world to live
How dreamy it is ,
Reality isn't...
It's a sad sad world ,
Perfection romanticized only by fools.
I've once tried to be balance ,
It cracked in between
The promises I've made ,
Broke within a day
Now , I've hit rock-bottom...
My memories vague ,
My body screams pain
Like a lost puppy in the street ,
Life seems no directions , it seems ;
So I changed.
Equivalent exchange ,
A principle far too stretched
As simple as it sounds ,
The meaning digs deep ;
It carries a burden.
Money is powerful ,
A curse that breeds greed
What you put up ,
Should be what you gonna get
If the interest's too high ,
You'll get burned by your conscience.
High risk , high reward
In life , it's a warning
Not a reminder to take for granted
If the currents too wild ,
You'll get washed away by it.
So.. it's better to be balanced ,
It's ideal though ironic
As I look outside ,
I see sceneries far too beauty
I feel at peace.
Life that is steady ,
All existence should be equal
The ugly and beautiful sides ,
Illustrates imperfections
As long as you acknowledge weakness ,
A better version awaits.
Equilibrium ;
What is just ,
Is what is just
Good meets bad ,
Lucky or unlucky
Hard work over work smart ,
Life is painfully one-sided
Unless you break your fate ,
Your tears dries useless
Balance is a luxury ,
A translucence above reality.
