-Chapter 5 Hobbit-

Start from the beginning

Bilbo looks over at Gandalf and asks, "Are there any other wizards, I mean?" 'There are five if I remember correctly,' I think, and that thought is confirmed when Gandalf answers, "There are five. One is Saruman the White; he is the head of our order. Then there are two blue ones: one is called Alatar, and the other Pallando, while the last one is Radagast the Brown."

"Is he a great wizard or more like you?" Bilbo asks. To that, I think, 'Oh, the disrespect,' but Gandalf doesn't seem bothered by this as he says, "In my opinion, he is a great wizard. He watches over the great forests, and that's good."

-The scene changes to a forest where an old man with peculiar clothing runs around.-

We see Radagast running around, looking at plants and dead animals. He tastes the blood that is on a leaf, saying, "No good, no really not good." He continues running until he spots a hedgehog just lying around. "Sebastian," he says, running to the little hedgehog. He picks him up and runs to a hut built in a tree. Going inside, he lays the hedgehog on the table and tries everything that he can, but nothing works. Out of frustration, he yells, "I don't understand why it's not working; it's not as if it's witchcraft..." Then he realizes, "Witchcraft. But it is. A dark and powerful magic."

He then sees beasts with long, thin legs crawling onto his house, trying to get inside. He runs to his staff, pulls out a stone, and runs back to the almost dead hedgehog. He puts the stone at the mouth of the little animal and starts to chant in some ancient language. "Lerya laman naiquentallo" [Free the animal from the curse]. "Sí a hlare ómaquettar" [Now hear words of my voice]  "Na coilerya en-vinyanta" [Be its life renewed]. Sí a hlare ómaquettar. Na coilerya en-vinyanta." Suddenly, a black mass is pulled inside the stone, and the hedgehog starts to breathe again. These beasts leave.

Radagast goes outside and looks after them. We now see that these beasts were really big and unnatural spiders. "Where on this good earth did those foul creatures come from?" asks Radagast. In that moment, a small bird comes to him and chirps something. "The old fortress?" asks Radagast. "Show me."

-The scene cuts back to the Company-

       -POV Maira-

The rain has now stopped, and we find ourselves at an old destroyed house. Thorin says "We'll camp here for the night. Fili, Kili, look after the ponies. Make sure you stay with them." Gandalf walks into the house and looks worried then he says "A farmer and his family used to live here." thorin says "Oín, Glóin" Glóin answers "Aye" "get a fire going" orders thorin Glóin answers with "Right you are" thorin then walks into the house Gandalf says "I think it would be wiser to move on. We could make for the Hidden Valley. But thorin refuses saying "I have told you already, I will not go near that place." Gandalf tries to reason "Why not? The elves could help us. We could get food, rest, advice." But Thorin stands on his opinion saying "I do not need their advice." But Gandalf still tries "We have a map that we cannot read. Lord Elrond could help us." Thorin isn't convinced saying "Help? A dragon attacks Erebor, what help came from the Elves? Orcs plunder Moria, desecrate our sacred halls, the Elves looked on and did nothing. You ask me to seek out the very people who betrayed my grandfather and betrayed my father." Gandalf says "You are neither of them. I did not give you that map and key for you to hold on to the past."but thorin just remarks "I did not know that they were yours to keep." At that Gandalf looks angry and storms out of the destroyed house walking to his horse Bilbo asks"Everything alright? Gandalf, where are you going?" He answers, "To seek the company of the only one around here who's got any sense." and Bilbo asks, "Who's that?" "Myself, Mr. Baggins! I've had enough of dwarves for one day." answers Gandalf before mounting his horse and riding away. Thorin comes out of the house and says "Come on, Bombur, we're hungry."
