//CHARLEIGH//

"Hello? Are you okay?"

I open my eyes to a burry figure waving a hand in my face. I flutter my eyes open, and see the prettiest sight ever seen.

Luke Hemmings.

I'm not sure what to say, obviously, so I just take his out stretched hand and stand up lazily. I brush off my slightly muddy knees, and smile at him. "Thanks."

"It's no problem. You're Charleigh, right? Makynli's friend?" he asks, running a hand through his quiff.

"Yeah. But I prefer to be called Char." I smirk.

"Char? That's cute."

Oh. My. God. Luke Hemmings just said my name was cute. "Thanks." I say, nonchalantly.

"Do you need a ride home?"

I don't know. Do I? It's quite obvious that Makynli has left me here, and the rest of the venue is empty. Luke Hemmings is offering me a ride home.

I'll take.

"Yes. I do in fact need a ride home." I say.

"Cool. I'll take you in our personal car." He says, leading me behind the venue to a shiny black car with dark tinted windows, and a bumper sticker that says 'PIZZA', and the I is dotted with a heart. Wow.

"Hop in." Luke says, opening the passenger seat door for me. I nod my head in appreciation, and enter the car, Luke shutting the door behind me. I runs around to the other side and hops in, putting the key in the ignition and pulling out onto the road.

"Where are you headed?" he asks, stopping at a red light.

"The Hilton. Down the street." I reply, twiddling my thumbs in my lap.

He nods, and turn onto the street leading to my hotel. When he pulls to a stop, we sit there for a moment in silence, and I finally speak.

And take the biggest risk of my life.

"Do you want to come up and hang out for a while? I have a room to myself." I say, looking up at him nervously. I'm anticipating pretty much any response, but I really want to have Luke Hemmings in my bedroom.

"Sure. I'll come up with you for a little while." He says, smiling slightly, his lip ring sticking out in the cutest way.

"Okay." I say, a bit to giddy, but at this point, I don't care.

We both get out of the car, and walk into the Hilton, heading straight for elevator, and praying that the huge crop of girls on the other side of the lobby don't see him. We look at each other and nod, still walking quite quickly towards the elevator.

"OH MY GOD THAT'S LUKE HEMMINGS!"

That's when we started to run.

We both piled in the elevator and hit the door close button. Just before a beach blonde came running into the elevator with us, the door shut, and we began to rise up slowly.

He begins to laugh, and I laugh with him, impulsively folding a piece of hair behind my ear.

We reach the twenty-fifth floor, and run to my room, praying the other elevator doesn't get up here before we're out of sight. I quickly slide my key card into the door handle, and we rush in, slamming the door behind me.

Luke bends over and rests his elbow on his knees in exhaustion, and I throw myself onto my hotel bed, laughing at him. "I actually feared for my life."

I laugh harder, mushing my face into the bed. "Same here, Lukey."

He walks over and plops down on the bed next to me. "I am genuinely sorry you didn't get to come to the concert."
