"I know what would make this life the one I want it to be." I muttered.

"And what's that?" Martyn asked.

I felt my face heat up.

"Uh- n-nothing. It's nothing important."

Martyn rolled his eyes.

"Sure."

I then sighed and said,

"Well...it's not nothing."

"Go on." Martyn smirked.

I blushed.

"I- it's...it's getting with you." I whispered the last part.

Martyn froze, blinking, his face red.

"W-what do you mean?" He asked after a minute.

"I mean, like, I don't know, us..." I moved my hand closer to his, "Dating."

Martyn blushed an even darker shade of red.

"But only if you're okay with it." I said, moving away.

"Which you're probably not." I mumbled, looking away, "I don't even know if you're gay..."

Martyn was silent before there was a silent, 'Ding!'

Martyn checked his phone and said, "I uh- gotta go."

He leaned down and kissed my forehead.

"See you later." He winked, getting on his bike and speeding away.

I blushed, watching him, a smile forming on my face.

I laid back down in the grass and looked up.

I hope this moment will never end.

But it did.

It faded away and I returned to the black room.

"Ugh, that memory always makes me cringe." The main Watcher said, gagging.

I rolled my eyes, "Look, it's done. Just...kill me."

The main Watcher shrugged, "Alright, fine."

He snapped and I felt my body get electrocuted.

I stood there though, staring at him.

He raised an eyebrow and snapped again, causing it to be more painful.

But it felt like a little pinch to me.

He snapped again.

Still, nothing felt like it hurt.

My hand gripped on my wallet and a letter while the main Watcher growled.

"Look! You're strong! I don't have time to deal with this! I have to erase this dimension that you failed at!"

He snapped and the electrocuting hit me so strong that I fell to the ground.

The main Watcher laughed.

"That's right." He said, smiling sickly.

I clutched my heart, feeling it twist.

"You can't beat me." I said, tears of pure agony forming in my eyes, "No one ever has. You'll die in the end."

He slowly took off his mask, smirking as my eyes widened.

His eyes shined a bright red and sent a shiver down my spine.

As he laughed, I made a portal and sent in a letter and my wallet.

It closed and he walked up to me, not noticing what I did.

"We'll see about that." He whispered, and he snapped, causing me to collapse to the ground, and lay motionless.

So yeah...Rick dies.

If it makes you feel better, when I made Rick my intention was to just make him Scott's friend, not for him to die.

ALSO, ALL YOU GUYS WHO DIDN'T TRUST RICK AND WERE HATING ON HIM- I- that genuinely made me upset (as you already know if you read the authors note after chapter 6) because I knew he was going to die. I knew that he had this broken past and was going to die and faced this deep heartbreak and all you guys just hated him and...that upset me. ANYWAY,

I feel like his character turned out to be great tho. I love Rick's design, the way he acts, and the twists he brought to the story. And like- so many of you guys hated him

Now, any idea why Rick sent his wallet and a mysterious letter to a different dimension? Let me know what your theories are!

Also, what did you think of listening to the song while reading this chapter?
I thought it worked, but I also think that watching Bluey for like 5 hours a day is fun. So how do you think the song fits?

Anyway,

Stay tuned for the next chapter, my friends :)
