Race Day: Angel cleared her throat, she smiled as Max took off his hat. "Great race Max." she said. He chuckled, "Definitely was Evie. Did you watch me?" he asked.

She rolled her eyes but nodded, "How could I not?" she asked. His eyes brightened at her answer, she was not holding back. As if he took it as a sign to be more comfortable in talking about them.

"From your last interview with us you said there were quite a list of inspirations and motivations that push you to continue racing, care to share some of them now?" she asked. He sent her a look, just making sure she was okay with it.

And with a simple nod, Max let out a breathy laugh, looking at his race shoes, he couldn't help but smile.

"Well, because you asked, I'll keep my answer simple." he started. She raised an eyebrow at her, "You won't give me long answers anymore?" she asked.

He grinned, "I think you would love my answer." he said simply. She hummed and nodded, adjusting the microphone so he could be heard better.

"As I was saying, I have a few people in mind, family, siblings, friends but I guess you could say someone else is pretty special. Actually we're going to get ice cream tomorrow." he said with a bright smile.

Angel couldn't help but let out a laugh, "Oh really?" she asked. Max hummed and nodded proudly, "Yeah! I mean I haven't asked her but will she say no?" he asked innocently.

She rolled her eyes, "I guess if you ask her she wouldn't." she said. He chuckled, "Great! I hope she says yes." he said.

"Well, I can assume how special this someone is." she said with a smile. Max smiled with so much emotion that Eliah knew he caught it and it would be a massive field on how Max was interacting with Angel again.

Nonetheless, Max had indirectly asked Angel to go on a date. But after the interviews, Max was sitting on the ground and was drinking his water.

He was listening to Clara and Daniel rant about each other. Ever since getting together, the two had been teasing each other in ways that ended up with Max listening to their rants about the most random of things (last night was all about getting a fish.)

But Max enjoyed it. He was happy that his two friends were together, they made each other happy and that was enough for her.

As he was sitting there, he caught sight of someone walking to them. He instantly smiled and turned. Angel who was already smiling, chuckled.

When she reached them, Clara immediately greeted her. "Good you're here! Max is bored listening to us already." she said jokingly. Daniel scoffed, "What do you mean? He loves our rants." he said.

Max snickered and stood up, "Hey there." he said. She smiled and wiped the sweat off his forehead, "Hi Emi." she said.

He giggled tilted his head, "What do you say about that ice cream?" he asked. She pulled on her thinking face making him huff, "Are you going to say no?" he asked worriedly making Daniel and Clara snicker.

Angel couldn't help but laugh, "I'm gonna say yes to that ice cream date." They smiled at each other, seeming to be lost in each other's eyes when Daniel scoffed and Clara gasped.

The two looked at them confused when the couple spoke at the same time, "You guys are dating?" they asked.

Max looked at Angel who hummed, "He hasn't asked me yet."

"You are stupid and slow Max."
