Chapter 10 ~ King for a Day

Finn: Seriously!? I'm having the worst luck ever!!
Luna: Why did you [sobs] disturb me from [sobs] my naaaaaaaaaaaaaaap~? [sobs] [sob]
Stork: I'm deeply sorry Luna, how about I make it up to you with a cuddle, a warmer heating pad, and I'll read you any book you want me to read
Luna: [sniff] [sniff] Can it be about the constellation?
Stork: Anything you want dear, but right now I think we need to check where we are and check on the damage. Okay?
Luna: [pout] Okay

We all went outside to investigate where we landed but see no signs of anything at all.

Aerrow: Stork? Any damage?
Stork: I can't tell, I need more light. That's better. Yeah, it looks like we're in pretty good shape... [turns around] What?... Oh
Luna: [growls] I'll handle this
Aerrow: Wait! Stop!! We come in peace!!
???: Fire!!

Everyone split up as I grabbed Luna and brought her inside the Condor, while we stick our heads out to see how we can handle this situation.

Piper: They're not listening!!

Aerrow and Finn dealt with the arrows that came at us, until these strangers came charging at us until they stopped when one of them looked at Finn and spoke.

???: It's... It's him!
Luna/Mags: Huh?
Finn: Yeah! You better believe it's me! Wait... What have you heard?

They all mummer and talked to each other until all soldiers got down on one knee and bowed, this was getting stranger and stranger.

Aerrow: First they attack us, then they surrender to Finn
Mags: That's just weird
Aerrow: Anyone want to explain this one to me? Finn?
Finn: Dude, I have no idea

Just then an elderly man shows up and walked up to Finn.

Old Man: Oh wonders! The prophecy has come true! The Great Domo
Luna/Mags: Huh!?
Old Man: You must forgive us. Since you came from the sky, we mistook you for our enemies. Visitors are few on Vapos
Finn: Did he just say Vapos?
Piper: But Vapos is a myth. It doesn't really exist... Does it?
King Agar: I am King Agar. Welcome to Terra Vapos
Luna: [Steps out] No way... Gngh!!
Mags: Luna, you okay? Is it still stinging you?
Luna: Mmh Hm. Yeah
Mags: [sigh] I wish I had some red raspberry Leaf or ginger tea to help
King Agar: Ah... I see you have a lady in pain, come. We have some villagers that can help her [walks away]
Mags: Luna, sweetie, can you walk?
Luna: It really hurts like needles repeatedly stabbing into it
Junko: I can carry her in my arms if that helps
Mags: That will do, she's in so much pain with those cramps

Junko carried Luna in his arms while Luna clutched onto a heating pad to endure the pain, I felt bad for her though, wouldn't want to be in her shoes. We arrived at town and it looked very ancient to be honest, almost like Greek civilization in fact.

Piper: This can't be the same place in the old stories. They said that the streets of Vapos were paved with marble and gold

[Excited crowd chatter]

Finn: Now it's just paved with creepy. Why are they hanging around me like this?
Villager C: You appear to be our "Great Domo" the legendary savior of Vapos
Luna: Wha- ow~ [groans]
Finn: Legendary? I like the sound of this. Tell me more
King Agar: Long ago, the people of Vapos lived in peace and harmony and our land was rich and abundant. Until the great quake. A chasm opened up and the dark ages began. Since then, we have been attacked from the depths. But we believe that the Great Domo will fly to Vapos and usher in a new age of prosperity
Piper: You think Finn is going to do that? [stifled laugh] you have the wrong guy
Mags: Yup, there's no way Finn is the "Great Domo"
Finn: Hey, maybe I am their Gomo
All: Domo
Finn: Gomo, Domo, whatever. The point is, are you ushering in a new age of prosperity? Huh? Huh? Didn't think so
King Agar: A golden ring hangs from that distant branch [joints creak] The prophecy says that the Domo will retrieve the ring. Many have tried. All have failed
Aerrow: It figures. No way anybody can climb that
Mags: Hmmm. Unless-
Finn: Who said anything about climb?
