Presley Green wasn't expecting to actually be granted the scholarship to Hollywood Arts. Sure, she believed her artistic talents were decent but to actually be granted a full ride to the school was surprising.

After all Presley hadn't gotten her hopes up about her application at all. She had accepted that she wouldn't be eligible to attend the school of Arts without the scholarship. Simply put; her mother couldn't afford it.

But the counselor, Lane, had gone above and beyond for her. He had helped her meet every requirement, and even helped her mother find affordable ways to get her to school ever morning, and home each afternoon.

But due to the late admission, and her old high schools crappy counselors, she hadn't been able to start her sophomore year at the beginning of the school year with the rest of the school.

Coming in almost a month later, Presley found herself intimidated.

But Lane was there, showing her around the school and pointing her in the direction of her locker.

Which was currently being blocked by a couple making out with each other, oblivious to the world around them.

She had waited for a moment to see if they would move. But they hadn't. So with the next best option her tapped the big on the shoulder lightly.

He pulled back from his girlfriend immediately, both of them facing her.

"You're blocking my locker." She kept her eyes on the girl, refusing to openly gawk at the girls boyfriend. Because from what little she allowed herself to see, he was beautiful. But obviously taken.

And it would've been rude, she tried to be anything but that.

So kept her eyes on the girl, the beautiful girl that was completely decked out in black, with an eyebrow piercing and streaks of blue and green in her hair. She had a tattoo, one that Presley immediately recognized because the pink haired girl had the very same tattoo.

"You new." The girl answered, Presley nodded with a small smile, deciding to try and make a friend with the girl. "We match." Presley pointed to the tattoo on the girls arm before pulling back her hair to reveal the smaller version that was behind her ear.

The boy let out a small chuckle at his girlfriend, who was now smirking.

The couple finally moved though, simply over to the next set of lockers beside her own.

"I'm Presley." She said "I just transferred from Northridge, I'm a sophomore."

"So are we." The boy muttered "Beck, this is my girlfriend Jade." Presley smiled at them.

"Nice to meet you." She muttered, feeling very awkward with the conversation. So she made herself busy by starting on the inside decorations for her locker.

She had bought thick pink marble sheets of paper that she should stick to the sides of the locker. Tiny fairy lights to tape around the tiny area as well. She reassembled her old light gray shelf that she has had for years to help keep her notebooks and books separated. She had pretty Harry Potter inspired magnets and a couple pictures, with a full sized mirror to hang up on the inside of the door tomorrow, after she decorated the outside portion of the locker.

A Hollywood Arts tradition evidently.

She could still feel the eyes of the couple beside her but opted to ignore them.
