Vol. 1: Chapter 2.4 - Introductions and adaptations

While everyone was quite agitated by the amount of subsidy, now it seems that they have calmed down because of the question asked by Horikita.

I was debating with myself if this was the best, after all, what I plan to do will probably cost us half of the initial points, although it's still better than going to zero points after only the first month.

Revealing the S System on the first day was never an option, I could force others to try to buy Chabashira-sensei's explanation using my private points, but if someone questions me about how I came to the conclusion that the school is hiding something with so little information I wouldn't be sure of convincing them, that would be worst in case we can't buy the explanation.

In the end I can only pray that we at least become class C in May.

"Hey, hey~, don't you want to go see those stores? Let's go shopping!"

"Umm. With so much money, we can buy anything. It's great that I got into this school"

Although there was a small moment of calm, it seems that everyone became excited again about the large amount of money.

"Everyone, can you listen to me for a moment?"

The student who had the air of a young man, and accused homosexual by a part of the fandom, raised his hand and spoke.

"Starting today, we will be in the same class for the next three years. Therefore, it would be great if we could all introduce ourselves and become friends. We still have time until the entrance ceremony. What do you think?"

It seemed like none of the students could think of anything like that since no one seemed to have any words to say.

"I agree! After all, we don't know our names, much less anything about ourselves."

After Maya Sato agreed, the previously doubtful students expressed their support.

"Why not!?" Karuizawa said.

"I'm in!" followed Shinohara

The only ones who really seemed disinterested are Horikita and Sudo.

Strangely Ayanouji looks like he's an excited child, a child with zero facial expressions at that.

"Then I'll go first. My name is Hirata Yousuke. Since I was often called by my first name, Yousuke, in high school, feel free to use it. Although I like all sports, I like soccer in particular and I also plan to play soccer at this school. I will be in your care."

Thus, Hirata became the central figure of the class, he will attract everyone's attention and will be identified as the pillar of the class' mood until we graduate, or at least until someone is expelled.

"Well then, I'd like everyone to introduce themselves starting from the front. Is that okay?" asked Hirata.

After that, my classmates introduced them one by one starting with Matsushita who was sitting next to Hirata, most of the initial instructions were calm until the fourth introduction.

"M-my name Inogashira K-ko-"

Whether her mind went blank or she couldn't gather her thoughts completely, she was unable to speak clearly. When the words no longer came out, her face turned pale with shame. If it weren't for Ishikura's appearance moments ago, I would have thought it was rare to see someone get so nervous.

Those kind words came from some classmates whose names I didn't know. But they had the opposite effect as Inogashira became even more speechless, the silence continued for 5 seconds, then 10 seconds, even I was getting nervous.
