There she was, standing in the pouring rain, her evening dress soaked. Not much but a nearby streetlamp shone on her face as the door opened to reveal a tall and slim woman. The woman's expression turned from confusion to concernment as she quickly pulled the girl inside.

"My goodness, child, what are you doing standing out in the rain at night?!", the woman exclaimed, closing the door and setting the girl in front of her. The girl didn't respond for a while, staring straight ahead with hard eyes.

"Well?", the woman asked. "I came to speak with you", the girl replied, this time looking at the woman. "I'm right here, dear." "I need you to train me", the girl said not one bit joking.

The woman realized this girl's seriousness. "You came to the right person, dear, but may I ask your reasoning?" The young girl returned to staring blankly, "My family." The woman had her hand gently on the girl's shoulder, "Tell me, how old are you?" "Fourteen, ma'am."

The woman inhaled as she straightened. "Very well. You may call me Eclipse, miss. We go by code names of our choice here. I wonder what yours will turn out to be. Now, come, let's get you cleaned up."
