Chapter 1:

The First Day...

Blair was feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness as she prepared for her first day at university. She turned to her best friend Ellie for support, and together they planned their outfits, lunch, and study plans for the day.

As Blair played her guitar in the living room, she sang along to her favorite songs, feeling more calm with each strum of the strings. She had brought her guitar to university with her, determined to keep up her skills while pursuing her degree.

As the time approached for her classes to start, Blair put on her favorite outfit - a black sweater, skirt, and Mary Janes with white socks, and braided her hair out of her face. She made sure to double check her bag for any last minute supplies before heading out the door.

Despite her best efforts, Blair woke up later than she had intended, and after quickly dressing herself, she booked an Uber and headed to the campus. Ellie was there waiting for her when she arrived, looking worried.

"Where were you?" Ellie asked, her voice laced with frustration. "I've been waiting here for an hour! We've already missed our first class!"

Blair felt a twinge of embarrassment as she explained that she had overslept. However, her embarrassment quickly turned to outrage as she saw a group of girls standing nearby, snickering at her.

"Why are you laughing?" Blair demanded, her voice shaking with anger.

"That's what you get for being late," Chloe, one of the girls, replied, her tone cruel.

Blair and Ellie headed towards the campus, feeling nervous as they made their way through the crowded streets. Blair's mind raced with thoughts, and she couldn't quite shake off a feeling of unease. She was excited about the day ahead, but at the same time, she couldn't help but feel like there was a weight on her shoulders.

As they made their way through the bustling campus, Blair couldn't help but notice the looks people gave her. She was used to being different, she was used to being unique, but here it was like everyone could tell. They could tell she was new, they could tell she didn't belong.

"Are you alright?" Ellie asked, sensing the change in Blair's demeanor.

Blair hesitated for a moment before answering. "I don't know, I just feel like everybody is staring at me."

"It's okay, it's your first day, people are going to look," Ellie said, giving her a reassuring pat on the back.

As they made their way towards one of the buildings, they noticed a group of students playing guitar and singing at the entrance. Blair's eyes widened as she recognized one of the singers, it was Castiel, a member of her favorite band Crowstorm.

"Ugh, not him," Blair muttered under her breath, trying to hide her disappointment. She had met Castiel before and hadn't been impressed. He was always so fake, always trying too hard to be cool.

"What?" Ellie asked, noticing the change in Blair's tone.

"Nothing, it's just nothing," Blair said, trying to play it off coolly.

As they walked past, Castiel noticed them and turned to wave. Blair rolled her eyes and turned away, pretending not to notice him.

"Is everything okay?" Ellie asked, sensing that something was off.

"Yeah, everything's fine, let's just keep going," Blair said, trying to shake off her negative feelings.

As they continued towards their first class, Blair couldn't help but feel a sense of relief that she wouldn't have to see Castiel again soon. She was still nervous about the day ahead, but she was determined to make the best of it.
