Chapter 19- A Mindless School Gift

When we got to their house, Brittany was waiting for us in the kitchen.

The girls do not know how mad I am.

They didn't call or text to say that the boys were at Behrman. I saw the pictures on Instagram and Twitter. I hate Ray for not telling me. He's supposed to be like my best friend or whatever.

I'll wait until they get to Artemis's and Juno's house to say anything.

I got out of school before the girls did, do I used my copy of the key to get into the house. They lived right by Edna Karr High School so it wasn't much of a walk. I sat in the kitchen to wait for them.

Jari, Artemis, and Juno were first to come in.

"Hey Brit." Juno smiled.

"What's good, Trendy?" Jari smiled.

"Hey girls. Where's Isis and the boys?" I asked.

"Coming," Artemis answered. "I'm sorry we didn't text you earlier. I know you saw everything on Instagram and Twitter. But Ray looked a little sad all day. He probably wanted to see you."

I smiled softly to myself for a few seconds before I let it drop. Ray already said he is with Star so he has no intention of is being anything, but friends.

"Yeah. Whatever," I shrugged. "Are we going to practice?"

"Yeah." Jari said as she grabbed a water bottle.

"When are the boys coming?" I asked.

"Now!" Isis shouted as she walked using the key Miss Wendy gave her. "Hey Brit!"

"Hey Royal." I smiled.

"Brit Brat!" Ray smiled and hugged me. I hugged him back.

"Hey Ray Rat." I smiled. He hugged me tighter at the nickname I gave him.

"Hey Bri." Prince, Prod, Roc, and Myles said once Ray let go of me.

"Hey guys." I smiled.

"Is that Karr's uniform?" Roc asked. I looked down at my purple polo shirt, khaki pants, and purple Chucks.

"Yeah. Why? Behrman's uniform is ugly?" I snickered.

"Yes!" The boys said.

"Hey!" Isis, Jari, Juno, and Artemis said together. They were still wearing their uniforms.

"But you make it so much better, mi amor." Prince told Artemis. She smiled and cut her eyes.

"Let's go practice." I said and the everyone followed me to the back.

"Where's Darian?" Isis asked.

"Practice." Juno answered as we walked through Darian's room to get to our room.

"I thought football season was over?" Jari asked.

"Yeah, but they still practice." I said as I took off my uniform shirt. The girls took off their vest, tie, and shirt.

"Strip tease! Whoo!" Roc and Ray cheered. Prod and Prince covered their eyes while Myles closed his and turned away.

"Are you done?" Prod asked.

"Yes." Jari giggled. The boys turned around and sat on the floor. The room wasn't really big. It was comfortable for us five girls, but over crowded with ten people in here.

"This is cramped." Prince said.

"This is all we got." Artemis shrugged and started the music for Run The World.

After a while, Artemis finally got the dance.

"Whoo!" Prince cheered for Artemis. He knows it takes her awhile to get a dance and he was happy for her.

"Can we see a freestyle to I Lean?" Prod asked.

"Go ahead, Jewel and Princess." Isis smiled and sat on Roc's lap. I sat by Ray.

"I lean! Soulja Boy tell 'em! Mindless Behavior! I lean! Watch me do it! Hey! Hey! I lean! Watch me, watch me! Hey hey! I lean." The music started and Jari and Artemis were off.

They were always the best at freestyle. Artemis may not be able to get choreographed dance moves quickly, but she sure can freestyle. Jari was like Prince and Prod put together-- she got dance moves the fastest and could freestyle like no one's business.

They body rolled and leaned backward a lot. Artemis did a standing split then a handstand at the end of the song. Jari did a backflip. They do all the flips.

"You know she would be rollin', rollin', rollin', rollin'." Prod sang and the girls rolled to the ground.

"That was dope!" Ray clapped. Jari and Artemis bowed-- out of breathe.

"Mami, you sure are flexible. And I like the way you lean." Prince told Artemis. She kicked her leg up around his neck and hung from his body by just her right leg.

"Flexible," She got off Prince. "Doesn't describe me, baby boy."

She left Prince with a stunned look on his face.

"Did you take gymnastics or something?" Myles asked.

"No. I just randomly started doing kicks and flips and things like that." Artemis answered as we got ready to do another song.

"Girls talkin' bout. I got them girls talkin' bout." The music played and we danced swiftly.

After practicing for a while, we sat in the living and talked.

Shout out to my girl @hotkeve !! She is Ta'keve'yana in the story. She is like my little sister and a Ray Ray lover so we don't fight. Lol.

I have state testing coming up soon and high to worry about so updates might be a little slower. Hope you guys understand.
