"Where are we going, baby?" Roc asked me as we walked up the stairs to the third floor.

"To put our things in my class then to enrichment. I have drama. We're doing a production of the Color Purple." I told him.

"That sounds fun." Roc smiled. I smiled back at him as we reached Ms. Hampton's class. Jari, Prod, Ray, Alexa, Artemis, and Prince were just getting there.

"Where's Juno?" Ray asked as we put our things down and walked back out.

"She's in a different class." Jari answered.

"I'm guessing Myles is with her." Roc said. He guessed right because Juno and Myles walked up to us as we were walking to drama.

"Hey guys. I like it here." Myles smiled.

"I do, too," Prod agreed. "It's dope here."

"Why are no girls on us right now?" Prince asked.

"Remeber when you came for our Christmas party?" I asked.

"Yeah." They all answered as we walked down stairs to the first floor.

"Everyone asked what was going on between us on Monday, so we told them." I shrugged.

"What do you mean, you told them?" Roc asked me.

"We told them that they date you boys." Juno said.

"But what if they--"

"They won't say anything because we told them not to. They understand that we would be slaughtered by Team Mindless. We're a family here." Artemis cut Prince off as we entered Mrs. Arias's, our drama teacher, room.

"Hey Mrs. Arias." We smiled.

"Hey babies." Mrs. Arias smiled as we sat down and everyone came in the room.

"Hey Prince." Germia said to Prince.

"Hey Mia." Prince hugged her.

"Hey boys." Horus said. They all dapped each other.

"Hey Prince." Unique smiled.

"Hey Nique." Prince hugged her.

"Alright. We have to really start practicing for the play. It's in February and we need to be ready. I decided to have Friday and Saturday rehearsal." Mrs. Arias told us.

We all groaned.

"Mrs. Arias, we have tutoring Monday through Thrusday!" Zyiane Meads, who plays Squeak, whined.

"We need a break." Shahid Reece, Grady, said.

"Next week we will start Friday and Saturday rehearsal." Mrs. Arias ignored them.

"Our birthday is on next Friday though." Horus and I said together.

"Oh well. You want to do the play so we're going to do it well." Mrs. Arias said to finialize the conversation. We all sat and stared at the ground.

"We're going on stage today." Mrs. Arias said. We all walked to the auditorium.

"What do you do?" Prince asked Artemis.

"I'm the director and older Nettie." Artemis answered.

"What about you, Isis?" Roc asked.

"I'm Sophia." I answered.

"I'm backstage." Alexa and Juno said.

"Backstage and a Juke Joint patron." Jari smiled.

"Wow. I can't wait to see this play." Ray smiled and placed an arm around Artemis.
