Chapter 19- A Mindless School Gift

"Let's get started now." Roc said with a smile. Juno went by Myles to help him with Behrman's out dated equipment.

"What do you guys want to hear?" Prince asked the crowd as we all got on stage.

Different song titles were shouted.

"I think you guys wanna see us lean!" Prince shouted and everyone went crazy. Freestyle time.

We freestyled as the song played and the boys sang. We danced to Mrs. Right, My Girl, and Girls Talkin' Bout.

"We need four girls to come on this stage. We'll pick one from 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th." Prod said. We walked over to Juno and Myles as the boys got off stage to get four girls.

Roc went to 5th grade, Prod went to 6th, Prince went to 7th, and Ray went to 8th.

Roc got my friend Constance, Prod got my friend Ta'keve'yana, Prince got my friend Gerrion, and Ray got Alexa. I laughed too hard at Alexa's face when Ray grabbed her hand.

The boys performed Missing You to the girls they picked. They kept it PG because we were in a school. Gerrion looked at me then at Prince then back to me. She is a big Princeton fan. I swear she almost fainted. Constance likes Prince as well, but she looked alright with being picked by Roc. So did Keve; she's a Ray fan, but she was alright with Prod. Alexa looked like she would die from embarrassment from the way Ray was dancing with her. He probably did that on purpose.

When the song was over, the boys hugged the girls and left them go back to their seats. I cheered for the girls as they sat down. Jari, Isis, and Juno followed me.

"Thank you everyone!" The boys shouted and waved.

"You were an amazing crowd! Please say thank you to our friends, Jari, Isis, and Artemis." Prince said and waved to us. We bowed as everyone cheered.

"Aye, Prince. Don't forget the four lovely girls we bring on stage. Keve, Constance, Gerrion, and Alexa." Ray smiled. Everyone cheered again as Mrs. Carter came back on stage.

"Thank you, boys. I think we needed that stress reliever," Mrs. Carter smiled and everyone cheered. "I was just informed that the boys of Mindless Behavior will be staying the day at Martin Behrman. They will be with the 8th graders all day today."

Our eyes widened and everyone screamed-- 8th grade being the loudest.

"Boys, I think you'll need uniforms." Mrs. Carter joked. The grades dispersed to their classrooms quickly-- 8th grade stayed back for a few minutes to wait on the boys.

When Prince, Prod, Ray, Roc, and Myles came back, they were wearing the middle school uniform of khaki pants, powder blue button down shirt, navy blue vest or cardigan, all black shoes, all black socks, and green and blue tie.

"I feel so mindless right now." Roc said as he looked at himself.

"How can you feel mindless in this?" Ray asked him.

"He dissin' our uniform!" Everyone said as Ray laughed. They let us go to class seperately.

Prince walked up to me and give me a hug.

"Hey babe. I missed you." He whispered to me.

"I missed you, too. It's so great to see you," I smiled. "How?"

"We asked Keisha," He answered simply. "So what's our first class for today?"

"What time is it?" I asked. He checked his phone.

"About to be 10." Prince answered.

"We are gong to put our things in Ms. Hampton's class. She teaches 8th grade math. Then we're going to my enrichment. Drama." I said.
