Sandwing Headcanons

-The outclaws are still Thorn's most loyal followers, many of them are either her spies, advisors, or royal guards. With Ostrich being Captain of the guard and Qibli being her advisor and head of spies. (Moon lives with him in the palace, although she works at Jade Mountain Academy as a teacher.)

-There are a few mental hospitals scattered around the Sand kingdom that Thorn endorses for dragons who may have been mentally and emotionally scarred in some way after the war, with the assistance of some Rainwings.

-Pronghorn works there.

-The Talons of Peace have evolved into a sort of charity/ vigilante organization and help dragons who are outcasts or in poverty in whatever way they can, they also work with JMA frequently. They have several Dragons in Possibility and The Scorpion den to help dragons out.

-The Sandwinsg have been trading with the Rainwings, Mudwings and Skywings. Their main export (That their known for) are musical instruments and spicy street food.

-The Sandwings still often have parties for the moons and are famous for their winter and summer solstice festivals, which all are welcome to come too. Often times these festivals and parties are opportunities to dance, sing, and meet new dragons all night. (I also kind of imagine it to be kind like Martygra or the Carnivale, sorry if I butchered those by the way.) 

-Tapestries, pottery, and other sand based arts are even more common then they were before because a lot of dragons have more time after the war to develop new interests, hobbies, and talents. Some dragons also use this as a form of therapy or as a coping mechanism.    

-Many Sandwings are well known for their musical talents. They have a variety of unique songs and even more are popping up because-as I mentioned before- of the extra time dragons have now. 

-Onyx has been going through a sort of therapy and is slowly getting closer to her father and becoming more humble and a little more kind every day. But she still has a long way to go. 

-There is a tribute to the dragonets of destiny in the middle of Possibility, specifically the scene where Sunny gave the eye of Onyx to Thorn. 

- Sunny and Meerkat met and started to date for a while and are very happy together.

-Prickle is also undergoing therapy in a safer space away from other dragons. She's doing worse than Onyx but is a lot better than before.

-Peepaw Vulture was taken to the dungeons with Sirocco and Rattlesnake and Thorn is still trying to locate several other Talons of Power members to put them in jail. 'The Mad prisoner's' shouting has been replaced with the family's constant arguing and blaming. 

-Qibli prefers to never go down there even more so than everyone else in the palace. Especially since their thoughts give Moon constant headaches. So he wouldn't want to imagine what their saying.

-And yes, Darkstalker's spell on Vulture did wear off.

-Overall, the Sandwings are mostly just glad to be alive after everything.
