Lyric Williams

Lyric scrolled through her phone all she seen on social media was this Darius guy trolling, it's been weeks since she's been Ho-Seok's girl friend and things have been good. She didn't have much privacy and some of her co-workers were jealous of her new found fame, but she didn't care she was on cloud nine.

"Nurse Williams." Ms.Taylor called from behind her.

Lyric turned around and glanced at her.

"Yes?" She asked.

"The board is going on an overseas trip for medical research for nurses and doctors and they were wondering if you would join them?" She asked.

Lyric glanced at her as she began to think, the board never paid her no mind now that she was in the limelight they wanted her to go overseas with them. Everyone was clout chasing at this point even the hospital.

"No thank you." Lyric smiled.

Ms.Taylor face tightened before she replaced her pierced lips with a tight smile.

"Um, the board insist. They want to show you that your hard work has paid off." She explained.

"Well, you can tell the board I appreciate the invite but I politely decline. I have things to do, and unfortunately I'm not a fan of leaving the country." Lyric shrugged her shoulders.

"I'll let them know." Ms.Taylor said walking away.

Lyric rolled her eyes before she felt her phone vibrate, she glanced at it and smiled before placing it on her ear.

"Hi." She smiled.

"Damn, you answered fast." He chuckled.

"As I should, what are you doing?" She asked.

"Taking a rest, what about you?" He asked.

"On break, my boss just asked if I wanted to join other doctors and nurses on an overseas trip." She said.

"That sounds like fun, when are you going?" He asked.

"I'm not." She sighed.

"And why not?" He asked.

"I am a nurse, but the trip is for the head nurses and doctors. They only want me to come to shed more light on their egos." She said.

"Hm, I see your new found fame has caused problems." He sighed.

"Not really problems, more like people are just trying to use me." She said.

The line grew silent causing her to look at the phone before placing it on her ear.

"Hello?" She said.

"I'm here, I'm sorry it seems it's my fault." He said.

"No, I knew what I was signing up for." She said.

"I know, but I don't want this to affect your everyday life." He explained.

Lyric sighed and nodded.

"I understand that, but it's nothing we can do about it. Which is why I choose to ignore it." She shrugged.

"I'm so glad you are understanding." He smiled.

Lyric smiled.

"Yeah so any plans tonight?" She asked.

"No, you coming over?" He asked.

"If you want me too." She giggled.

"What do you mean if I want you to of course I want you to." He laughed.
