The journey to the exchange location was oppressive, and the atmosphere in the black car was charged with tension. I sat beside Andrew, and it was evident that he was battling with his thoughts internally. A heavy silence hung between us. To reassure him, I placed my hand on his and locked my gaze with his.

"Andrew, trust me. Nothing will happen to me," I said in a soft, reassuring voice.

"There's no doubt about that. You'll handle it. I'll wait for you for dinner," he replied, trying to appear relaxed despite the gravity of the situation.

I smiled at him teasingly. "Is this a date?"

Andrew, taking on an authoritative tone, replied, "Yes, it's a date, and you better bring your pretty ass back safe and sound for me."

I returned the banter. "Hmm, this 'ass' thing again?"

"It seems it didn't bother you last night," he said with a mischievous smile. His words brought back memories of the previous night,

and I blushed instantly. Andrew took my face in his hands and kissed me passionately, reigniting the memories of our passion. It might have been our last kiss, and I found myself trapped in a burning and sensual hell, wondering if I really wanted to escape it.

After finally breaking our passionate embrace, we looked at each other, breathless, as if our souls understood each other without the need for words

After finally breaking our passionate embrace, we looked at each other, breathless, as if our souls understood each other without the need for words.

I quickly composed myself, a mixture of confidence and nervousness in my gaze.

The exchange location was a dark and sinister warehouse, where flickering lights cast eerie shadows. I left the car, surrounded by Andrew's men who were watching over my safety.

Sam, the man we had come to meet, was there, a malicious smile on his face

Sam, the man we had come to meet, was there, a malicious smile on his face.

"Finally, here you are, my love. I was getting impatient," he said in a chilling tone. I wanted to wipe that smile off his face.

"Where is my sister, you bastard?" I asked in a cold voice.

Sam displayed a devilish smile. "Patience, doll. She's safe for now. Show me first that you're holding up your end of the deal."

I tensed up, the promise I had made to Maya weighing on my shoulders. I had to protect her at all costs. It was the moment of truth.

"Very well, I'm ready to make the exchange, but you must let my sister go first, safe and sound," I declared with confidence.

Seconds felt like an eternity, then one of Sam's men emerged from the warehouse, dragging Maya with him. Despite looking visibly traumatized, Maya was unharmed.

Seeing my sister alive, I was overwhelmed with emotions, and tears streamed down my face. I stepped forward towards Maya, my hand raised in a sign of surrender, and Maya did the same. The reunion with my sister after weeks of separation and terror was heart-wrenching, and tears flowed down our faces, a mix of pain and joy.

Maya, covered in bruises and blood, was in a terrible state. As we reunited in the middle of that dark warehouse, we fell into each other's arms, sobbing.

Maya: "Felicia, I'm so sorry. Please, don't leave."

Felicia: "Are you okay, Maya? Are you hurt?"

Maya: "Fel, don't leave. They will kill you. You're all I have left. Mom and dad, they... they're gone." Maya's tears were warm and desperate.

Felicia: "Don't worry, everything will be fine. I'll sort it out. Go with Andrew; he'll protect you."

Maya: "No, no, I don't want to. Don't abandon me, please, please."

I kissed her forehead one last time and said, "I love you, and I'll do everything to protect you."

Maya: "No... no Fel, please... Nooooo." She cried desperately, and my heart ached seeing her like this.

Sam watched the scene with a satisfied smile. "Well, now that you're reunited, it's time to settle our little dispute."

I turned to him, determination filling me once again. "Alright, Sam. I'm here, as agreed. Do whatever you want with me."

With these words, I began to approach Sam. Maya stood there, helpless and in tears, trapped in a nightmare. She cried uncontrollably as Andrew's men took her and placed her in the car. Andrew, hidden in the shadows, wrestled with a heartbreaking dilemma. Tension was at its peak, emotions swirling in the dark warehouse. My fate was in Sam's hands, but I was ready to fight to the end for my sister, no matter the consequences. Sam's men seized me.

Sam: "Well, hello, doll. It's so good to see you again."

He said with a devilish smile.

Sam: "We're going to have fun, you and I!"
