Chapter 19 (Part 1 of the Trial of Albus Dumbledore)

"Today I'm here to prove that my client Mr. Dumbledore hasn't been what he is being accused of and that he only wanted the best for Mr. Potter after the loss of his parents. As for Hogwarts, Mr. Dumbledore wanted to change the school for the better." says Haley

"Today we would like to start with the charges against Dumbledore for Hogwarts." requests Jack

"Request granted." says Judge Taylor

"During Mr. Potter's trip to Gringotts after his second year of Hogwarts, he was informed by Mr. Ragnok that he is the owner of Hogwarts after an inheritance test which is the first piece of evidence that has been submitted. The test also showed that Mr. Potter is related to Godric Gryffindor, Rowena Ravenclaw, and Salazer Slytherin, and since he holds the three lordships he can claim them along with claiming Hogwarts as the new owner." says Jack

A copy of my inheritance test is passed around to the Judge, Haley, The Wizengamont, and the jury.

"After learning about his new ownership of Hogwarts, Harry started to learn more about Hogwarts and what it took to own the castle. During this, Harry learned about all of the classes that were taken out of the school especially all of the important classes that the founders themself put into the school. During the summer, one day when Dumbledore was out of Hogwarts, Harry got into the school as owner and he managed to find the founder's portraits in the dungeons inside of a secret room. Which brings us to our first four witnesses". says Jack

Amelia and the Aurors head into the chamber next door and come back out with four portraits. They are set down on stands in front of the courtroom and the founders look around courtroom ten.

"Present the Hogwarts Founders- Godric Gryffindor, Rowena Ravenclaw, Helga Hufflepuff, and Salazar Slytherin. I'm going to ask you a few questions about Hogwarts and the day Harry found you." says Jack

"What were the classes that you put into the school?" asks Jack

"The class I put in was Wizarding World Studies. The reason that I made this class was so that any muggle-born/muggled-raised students were going to be allowed into the school. I wanted muggle students to learn about how the Wizarding World worked and why we did the things that we did. The class had been a part of Hogwarts for years until Dumbledore took over as headmaster then he cut the class saying that it was "too dark for muggle world students". Despite the fact that muggle students loved the class since they got to learn more about the Wizarding World. " says Salazar Slytherin

"I had put in the Runes class because, at the time we built Hogwarts, Runes were a part of everyday life and students needed to know how Runes worked but at the time they weren't an elective. The class only became an elective after Dumbledore took over." says Rowena Ravenclaw

"I put in Transfiguration class is still in the school and has never been changed as far as I know." says Godric Gryffindor

"I put in Herbology." says Helga Hufflepuff

"How did your portraits end up in the dungeons inside of a secret room?" asks Jack

"We used to live in the Headmaster's office to help the current headmaster watch over the school along with all of the other portraits that hang in the office but when Albus Dumbledore took over as headmaster when he started to change the school by removing classes and the wards. We told him that removing these classes and wards was a bad idea but all Dumbledore said was that it was for the greater good then he moved us down to the room in the dungeon. We stayed there until Harry found us during the summer of 1993." says Rowena

"We were the ones who helped Harry bring back some of the classes including Wizarding World Studies and we approved of Harry's idea for the Muggle World Studies class because he made the point that if muggle-raised students had to learn about the wizarding world then the Wizarding World raised students have to learn about the Muggle world." says Salazar
