Chapter 4

"So how was your weekend?" Dakota asked.

"Taylor's brother got dumped so he cancelled the party."

"Damn, that's messed up. So, what did y'all do." Chantell asked.

"Pizza and Netflix." I shrugged.

I walked to class, Taylor didn't come today, so I didn't have to meet her at her locker.

We sat down at our usual seats as our Astronomy teacher began his lesson.

"Did y'all know that Taylor used to have a crush in me."

The two girls looked in opposite directions, ignoring me.

"Y'all knew!"

"Taylor told us not to tell you." Dakota shrugged.

"Shit was annoying as fuck." Chantell added.

"How?"

"Keep it down ladies." Our teacher said.

"Yes sir." We replied.

"When you weren't around, she would always talk about you."

"Yeah like all the time."

I shook my head, "How come I didn't know this."

"You were too absorbed with Jordan to notice." Dakota said.

"Man we would've been together right now." I shrugged."Y'all know she talks to Sa'Mya right."

"Who Taylor?" Dakota asked.

"Taylor." I said.

"She said she was straight." Chantell said.

"That's the same thing I said. Taylor showed me all of the messages. She said that they was really feeling each other, and Taylor said Sa'Mya never said she was straight. But she walking around here talking about she straight, when everybody knows about her & Taylor."

"Damn." They both said.

"Taylor said that if Sa'Mya wasn't on some bullshit, they would've been together but while Sa'Mya wasn't there Desire was and now she with Desire."

"I wonder how long that's gonna last."

"Not long."

I laughed at my two friends.

"So Jada, what's up with you and Mariah?" Dakota said, nudging Chantell.

"Well, we're good. I finally kissed her today, y'all should've seen her face, she was so happy."

"Aww." Chantell smiled.

"What happened to the cold hearted Jada?" Dakota smirked.

"I told her to leave, and I'm trying something new."

"That's good, I mean how are you 16 years old and never had a first love." Chantell said.

"I never loved them, sure I liked them, but love? No. Sure I told Jordan I loved her, but I didn't mean it, I only said it to make her happy. Since then I vowed to only say I love you when I mean it."

"Do you love Mariah?" Dakota asked.

"No."

"Damn Jada, you were Jordan's, Alexis', and Kendall's first love, but you ain't love none of them." Chantell said.

" I'm not the only person who has'nt had a first love."

"Who else is it?" Dakota asked.

"Taylor" I said.

"Taylor's first love was Camille." Dakota said.

"But Taylor cheated on her."

"Jada, first love doesn't always mean best love." Chantell huffed.

"Taylor has never been faithful, and never will be." Dakota laughed.

"She told me she'all be faithful when she finds someone worth being faithful to."

"You." They coughed.

"Yeah right."

"C'mon, y'all would be so cute together." Chantell pleaded.

"Can we change the subject?" I asked.

"Okay, I found the answers to this packet on the internet." Dakota said, pulling out her phone.

"Okay, now move over." I said trying to look at Dakota's phone.
