Silas' P.O.V.

Like seriously... what the fuck was happening right now?

When I watched this red C8 corvette pull up to the deal tonight, I was thinking... damn, who's the man with the nice ass car. Much to my surprise, it was the woman I haven't been able to get out of my head since the day I met her.

Naturally, I wanted to rush down there and carry her ass back to her home because she sure as hell shouldn't have been there tonight. Derek got some intel that the L.A. Kings started working for a trafficking ring out of the States so we were here to get information and then kill every last one of these fuckers.

And she walks right in the middle of it all.

"Why the hell was Daniella here tonight?" Nico questioned as we finished cleaning up.

I shook my head, "I don't know."

"Do you think she works with the Scorpion's?"

"I don't know."

"Is she going to be a problem, Dad?"

"Jesus Christ Nico... I don't know!" I let out a breath, really wishing I had a cigarette right now. "I'm sorry but that woman that came tonight isn't the same woman I've gotten to know. The Daniella got out of that car tonight, it's like she owned this fucking place. So I really don't know what is going on."

Derek came over and handed me a piece of paper. "She warned me before she left what was happening tonight."

I narrowed my eyes and started opening the crumpled up paper...

'It's a set up. They plan on killing you tonight.'

"What?"

Nico took the paper from my hands. "How would she know that or that we were even here tonight?"

"I don't know, but I'm going to find out."

Daniella's P.O.V.

I went to my apartment after I left in case I was followed, not wanting to lead anybody to the girls. Axel called me a few hours after I left and told me that the L.A. Kings were all killed and the streets wiped clean.

2am my alarms went off, telling me someone was here.

I rolled my eyes after I checked my security cameras to see who was standing there, waiting patiently for me to grant access to my apartment. "Oh good lord."

I got up quickly, put on a bra, t-shirt and shorts, grabbed my gun and headed towards the elevators, allowing them up. I went over to my table, waiting.

Moments later, Derek, Silas and a couple others entered my apartment. Silas leaned up against my couch like he had a million different things running through his mind but remained quiet.

"Daniella." Derek spoke as he motioned to the others. "You already know Silas. This is Nico, Beck and Zac. They were here with us last week too."

"I remember."

Derek nodded and handed me the envelope I gave to Sebastian, still full of cash. "What's this for?"

"Sebastian and his runts are no longer going to be a problem around here. Thought you might like your money back."

"I heard and thank you?" I was curious as to why I was getting this money back.

"First of all, why did you owe them money?" Silas finally spoke. "And Sweetness, don't you dare lie to me."

I let out a breath. "Do you remember how I told you I had a brother?"

He nodded.

"He got caught up in something bad a few years back. He borrowed some money from Sebastian and after he died, I got stuck paying off his debt."
