I had this story written for a while, and I was not so sure if I should publish it or not..

Well..

This story is different. This story is probably weird, but here it is.

Win was there, he saw what happened to Team. How he could not pull his best friend out of the water because of the cramp in his leg, he saw how Team's best friend drowned in front of his eyes and he didn't do shit. He stood there hidden in shadows pretending like none of this ever happened. He pretended to not see the tears on Team's face, he tried not to hear those pleads for saving his best friend coming from his throat.

No, nothing like this happened, because how could he be there? How could he feel the easiness inside his chest when he heard that a young boy drowned when he tried to save another boy who had a cramp in his leg.

No, Win was not there, he was inside the newly opened hotel his older brother managed and playing with his younger brother.

Or at least that was what Win felt he needed to say when someone asked him; just in case.

As time flew by Win started to slowly forget about what he saw, yet he could not get the face of the boy out of his head. He felt how his heart beated faster and faster when he saw him riding on his bike around, how he saw him swim in the swimming pool or build a castle on the beach; alone.

Every time he saw how Team was alone he wanted to walk to him and say hi, but his legs were not listening. He felt so damn ashamed that he could not help him, but what would people think? A person applying for a swimming scholarship, because his parents are blinded by money and they want him to be a businessman, but that is what Win definitely doesn't want to be.

He wants to be free.

A few years passed, Win somehow managed to overcome the fear from water and now is co-captain of the swimming team with his best friend Dean who helped him to work on his fear. Dean was there for Win all the time, he was the one supporting his decision no matter what.

Dean was even Wins first kiss. It was pretty innocent, just two boys who explored their sexuality and found out that it would be the easiest to stay friends, because there were no sparks happening between them and it simply did not feel right.

"First years are coming, brace yourself." Phruek hummed right behind Win and it made him jump up, Win's eyes could kill with a look, he definitely did not become so approachable for anyone to get close with him. Win was a lone wolf having only Dean, Phruek and his two brothers by his side.

"Oooi, Team we will wait for you outsideeee." Someone shouted through the whole hall making everyone startled.

"Manaow, stop shouting." The boy named Team shushed her down and shooed her away with his hand and a little help from another boy pulling the girl away.

Win was there, staring at the boy unbelievably. How big is a chance of having his first love signing up at the same university at the same club when Thailand is so big and Chonburi is so far away? The chances are pretty small, but it happened.

"Scholarship student." Team hummed as he stood in front of Dean and handed him his documents. Dean without sparing him a single glance kept looking at the boy who stayed behind pulling the girl away.

Team saw that the guy in front of him was paying no damn attention to him so he looked the same way.

"Pharm.. That boy's name is Pharm and the girl is Manaow." Team hummed and pushed his documents towards Dean.
