dear diary,

I seem to always forget how pretty Qatar is especially when Hanan keeps telling me the history of the place and how the culture works. I think this might be my favourite place to race at until now.

I wasn't really allowed to hang out with anybody from the group and Lando and I finally talked about everything that happened the year prior. He apologised of course and apologised for his behaviour throughout this year and I forgave him, he was obviously very sorry for his actions and he said he'd try harder to befriend Daniel.

Lance and I also got a little moment where we sat and talked about growing up in Canada even though he stayed in Montreal most of the time. I loved when we moved up there and I met him, he truly never fails to be my bestest friend.

Ryan kept an eye on me as usual, lurking where I could only see him and feel his gaze on me from afar. I was starting to feel a little violated, it went to the point where I'd push myself against Daniel just to maybe tell him to back off but I guess it only pissed him off.

I hope it's all in my head either way and nothing happens in the future.

DANIEL, HANAN, LANCE, GEORGE, SCOTTY, CHLOE, and Mick were sat in Daniel's Australian home in the early days of February with mountains of journals scattered on the centre table. They had switched books between each other in case the other missed something but all in all, they couldn't find shit.

Scotty and Chloe just watched them to be honest and were in charge of snacks so currently, they had just stepped out to buy some more things at a nearby store.

"I'm so sorry but I give up, we retraced and reread and focused but it's the same damn thing." George exclaimed

"George-"

"I know it sounds horrible but I don't mean giving up on finding her, I meant giving up with reading."

"I just feel like something is missing, like it's right in front of us but I can't seem to see it." Daniel spoke after a long time of silence. He had learnt to cope with the pain and pressure despite falling dangerously quiet as the season came to an end.

"We're back!" Scotty yelled the moment there walked through the door

"Took you guys long enough, I'm hungry." Lance got up to help out with the bags and dropped one of the diaries on the kitchen counter

"How's it going so far guys?"

"Still nothing Chloe, it sucks."

"Hopefully, it'll make sense."

"Hey, isn't that morse code?" Scotty randomly spotted pointing at the diary Chloe was reading on the counter

"Morse what?" George asked walking towards the couple

"Morse code, here at the beginning of the page." The look of realisation crossed Hanan and Daniel's faces when they looked at each other

"We've been reading the diary, it's not on every page, I can't believe we missed that." Lance stated shocked then suddenly they all started to flip the pages

"Tear out every page that has it, it'll be easier." Hanan

"I'll go get pen and paper."

"Morse code translator is open on my phone, let's work fast."
