2000... That was the year in which the duel between two powerful beings took place. Godai Yusuke, otherwise known as Kamen Rider Kuuga and the leader of an ancient monster tribe, N•Daguva•Zeba. The duel that would decide the fate of the world, the duel that marked the downfall of Daguva...
A decade later, the shattered pieces of their belts were discovered during an excavation. The collected pieces were to be sent to the government to perform various studies but an attack from an unknown criminal organization, stole the belt of darkness. Thankfully, the belt of light was safely retrieved before being handed to one of Japan's lead research scientist, Kisaragi Reina.
Unfortunately, the belt requires a test subject and Kisaragi Rei, a sophomore year student from the Hanzo Academy, volunteered to don the belt of light, known as the Arcle. With the help of his sister, they promised to yield great results from their research.

The government of Japan, entrusted the boy with the mission to retrieve or destroy Daguva's belt and in exchange, Rei was handed full possession of the Arcle for his own personal use.
But, what he doesn't know... Is that he would soon learn the secrets that lie behind the closed doors of the academy.

A few months after being handed the Arcle...
Rei is currently walking along the white pristine corridors of a facility which were illuminated pretty brightly, with various steel doors on each side of the walls locked with either a key card scanner or a keyboard panel. He continued his way down the corridors until he comes across a wide opened door, the room on the other side was almost dark if it weren't for the various monitors and small lamps. "Reina-nee?" he called out as he stepped inside and he saw a woman in a lab coat who spun around on an office chair to face him.
